I just called to ask Dr. Uy a question and he started yelling at me for no reason, made me feel stupid for asking a question and then...he has the audacity to hang up on me!!

I went in with a painful and swelling foot, he diagnosed gout after a quick look. I was convinced by my wife to go to the ER, they diagnosed infection and put me on antibiotics

There is no way this guy should be practicing medicine TERRIBLE!!! clueless!!!

This was quite literally the worst doctor I have ever had the displeasure of seeing. He was extremely rude, unprofessional, and inappropriate. He doesn't deserve half a star let alone the one I'm forced to give. He runs his practice out of the basement of his home with no appropriate exam rooms. We could hear him discuss medical issues with another patient in the next room, door WIDE open. This is in violation of any of the HIPPA laws, let alone sanitary practices. He has no staff WHATSOEVER; no nurses, no receptionists, no assistants, no nothing, and that's before even meeting the man. He made that one thing was very evident and clear: I was overweight. He addressed none of the medical concerns and issues I wanted to discuss, and said everything wrong with me could be cured through "willpower" alone. When I told him that I had a pre-existing eating disorder where I go several days without eating and my family literally has to force me to eat, he SCOFFED and said "I… highly doubt that, look at you, you must consume at least 4,000 calories a day." Even my best friend who was there with me (and lives with me) told him it was the truth, he said it wasn't possible. And THEN he started telling her (my best friend), who's not even his patient, that she was overweight too and that she needed to lose weight too. After some research we discovered that he went to medical school in the Philippines, which I'm guessing all they have over there is "willpower". Do not go to this doctor. EVER.
