I was seeing Dr. Sandhu with UC Davis and then his private practice who is wonderful, however my insurance changed to Kaiser and was assigned Dr. Bhat who dismissed my concerns and said no longer needed to follow up…

I just had a video appointment with this doctor and she was HORRIBLE. She started laughing in the middle of my appointment and was just over very rude. Thankfully she's only a temporary doctor for me. Do yourself a favor and switch if you happen to get placed with her.

I was referred to Dr. Bhat, because my regular doctor is on maternity leave. It took a lot of courage for me to ask to be put back on plaquenil because I have been in so much pain. I have fallen, had to use a cane, and used all my sick time at work I was in so much pain. All she did was dismiss me and tell me I didn't have an AI disease and that my past diagnosis were garbage. I told her she didn't have chronic pain so that she couldn't judge how I did or didn't feel. She just smiled and said she didn't but she knew better than I did. I told her all I needed was for my perscription to be updated because I was no longer able to figure skate because of the pain and I didnt want to have to quit ballroom dancing too. She proceeded to laugh at me the whole time I was crying. I have never been so humiliated by a doctor in my life. I cried all the way home from San Francisco. I will never recommend that someone see her, and I intend to complain to Kaiser as well. No one deserves to be… humiliated like I was.

Tends to be impatient and condescending. Not very kind with older patient.

I have been a patient of hers since she began practice approximately 8 years ago. I have always been very satisfied with her care and attitude towards my concerns. She is always very cordial and friendly. She is my FAVORITE Md!

I would highly recommend Dr. Bhat for your medical needs. I have been seeing her for SLE for about five years and it is now stable. She is very direct and tells me exactly what I need to do and her treatment plan has been effective.

I was referred to her by my own doctor , and when I went to her she had no idea what was wrong with me I told her all I was feeling and she couldn't figure it out. I was not waiting to hear another I don't know so I got a second opinion. When I came back and told her that my second opinion Dr. said I had Lyme disease she dismissed it even though the paperwork was sitting right in front of her. I was furthermore diagnosed with RA by her. I asked her if she was going to treat my Lyme disease and she said, " I have a rheumatology degree not Lyme disease degree. I will treat your RA symptoms and nothing more." I sat there in complete shock and I'm in the process of changing Dr.'s now. She should be taken off as one of the military Tricare referral Doctors. She is not helpful nor does she care for her patients.

Felt like I wasted my time visiting her. I was referred to her because of a positive ANA test and have been feeling awful. She didn't do anything at all to help me. Actually left in the middle of my appointment to go answer a phone call with one of her family members, came back 10 mins later and sent me on my way, and nothing was resolved!!! Horrible experience with this dr. Will never go back to her again, and I recommend that nobody else see her.

When I was first diagnosed with autoimmune disease I was scared and had many questions. Dr. Bhat was very caring and took plenty of time to listen and answer my questions. She explained what I could expect and what my treatment plan would be. She put my mind at ease and treated me like a family member. If faced with autoimmune disease and you want to be treated by a specialist then Dr. Bhat is wonderful. Another plus-appointments are on time!

Dr. Bhat is very concerned about the right diagnosis. She makes sure of what you have bye blood test and xrays. She is caring and is always able to see you if the need arises. She is easy to talk to and explains all concerns I have. I am so happy to have found her. I also adore her asst. what a kind and caring woman. I would refer her highly. I would highly recommend this Doctor.
