Dr. Anuradha Vallabhaneni Rao, MD

I have been a patient for many years as well as my family members! I have felt very satisfied with the care she has provided. She listens to my concerns and guides me to the best solution. She is able to explain to me without making me feel insecure with asking my questions. She has performed tests when needed to provide her with enough information to treat my medical problems. Her staff( Madonna) also has been very caring and helpful when I needed assistance with authorization for medication.

Worst experience I ever had. Dr. Rao was condescending, offensive, and chastised me for asking questions about the tests she recommended. She make extremely unprofessional and inappropriate comments, even telling me that I looked like I had a dark cloud over me. She clearly lacks professionalism. It’s alarming how a physician who has so much to offer her patients discourages, belittled and bullies them. CVA should invest in interpersonal/soft skills training. No one should have to experience this when visiting someone they should be able to trust.

Dr. Rao is curt and impatient with patient questions. Very knowledgeable doctor but needs to work on bedside manners. After doing something so long , she has forgotten this is a first time experience for many. Would not recommend.

No follow up has ever been needed, so it is hard for me to rate. She is an awesome Dr. for female cardiac care!
