Medical care was excellent once I finally got an appointment

After Cartia XT prescribed by Aryana put me in the Hospital for three days, my Cardiologist asked Aryana to install a Loop Heart Recorder, he refused. Ten days ago a REAL Specialist put a Bi-Ventricular MRI Compatible Pacemaker into my chest. I left a previous review and the business end of his practice contacted me expressing regret, oh, yes, indeed, regret at my experience with Aryana. GET A SECOND OPINION

This Dr. prescribed a medication that put me in the ER and Hospital admittance for three days. He said if meds didn`t work than Ablation would be next. Went to a follow up visit and was told he couldn`t help, my problem was a psych problem. If that is true, why did he prescribed heart meds? Would not advise seeing him.

My father was diagnosed with Afib and needed to see an EP specialist. A friend of mine works in the medical field so I asked him for a recommendation. He spoke with several physician colleagues and all of them recommended Dr. Aryana. Dr. Aryana was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and polite. He recommended an Afib ablation procedure. The procedure went very well and my father is no longer in Afib. We were very impressed and understand why his peers think so highly of him.

The moment you meet him it becomes clear that educating his patients about their heart conditions is a priority. His extensive training at Harvard makes him uniquely qualified to handle any heart electrical abnormality. After talking with him it becomes clear you have made the right choice in doctor. Would definitely recommend him. I had racing heart for years without diagnosis. Dr. Aryana ordered proper tests, performed an ablation with a team of amazing doctors and hospital staff. My heart is good as new.

I underwent a cryoablation heart procedure for atrial fibrillation performed by Dr. Arash Aryana at Mercy General Hospital in Sacramento, CA. I had a near-fatal pulmonary embolism 17 days later resulting from blood clots that had formed in my legs. An interventional radiologist told me I survived the pulmonary embolism only because of my then excellent physical condition from prior lifelong vigorous exercise that gave me superior cardiovascular â??reservesâ?? most people lack. Upon my release from the four day hospital stay at Mercy General Hospital, their discharge paperwork included a document stating causes of blood clots. One of the causes is that catheters inserted into veins can sometimes contribute to and/or cause blood clots - this is the technique employed during the cryoablation. As a result of the blood clots and pulmonary embolism, an IVC filter was implanted into my abdomen area to catch possible other clots that might break-off in my legs. Two months later, vein… damage caused by a second failed attempt to retrieve the temporary IVC filter resulted in formation of a large leg hematoma, new blood clot, two blood transfusions, and a nine day hospital stay. The filter was eventually successfully retrieved at Stanford Hospital & Clinics. Due to what likely should have been avoidable blood clots and a near-fatal pulmonary embolism with its ensuing series of events, I have had 13 cumulative days in the hospital, 7+ hours of radiation, 40+ doctor visits, substantial pain, past/future medical expenses, forced early retirement, adverse impacts on my formerly active lifestyle, and health complications including Postphlebitic Syndrome.
