Dr. Archibald William Houser, MD

This guy left me on medication, which was making me sick. Despite numerous complications, he pushed the pills down my throat. He should have never become a doctor. Worst experience in my life, and he damn near ended it.

Dr. Houser is caring, and genuinely concerned about the well being of his patients. He has always listened to me when I have questions, and answered in a manner that a lay person can understand. I have been a patient for well over 10 years as well as my husband (2000-2013 my husband passed away). We both had and have the utmost confidence in Dr. Houser. I can be stubborn and not want to do what the good Doc tells me to do, but he is emphatic and to the point. Some people don't like that, I appreciate it because I am forced to see the wisdom of his advice which I do take. All things considered, I'm pushing 74, still on this side of the dirt and don't have a groundhog for a mailman. It's because Dr. Houser takes the time to explain, the what and why of his treatments and referrals. His staff has always been courteous and helpful, one of the many reasons I keep going back.

I work for a Health Organization responsible for managing benefits and coordinating patient care. Attempting to contact MD by phone or fax to notify of patient determination on coverage. MD Phone goes to voicemail (cannot leave confidential information on voicemail) and MD fax experiencing phone line problems. No alternative information given, VERY difficult to speak to someone at this MDO.

Showed up for two separate appointments only to be told that they did not have me on their list for that day. This doctor wanted me to listen, not speak. He interrupted me whenever I tried to say anything. Both times that I managed to see him, he was WAY behind and in a hurry. I have since found another provider..
