Dr. Arielle Shebay Lee, MD

I really do appreciate Dr. Lee because she hasn’t given up on me. She’s tried different chemotherapy infusions and if they didn’t work, she now has me on chemo pills which seem to agree with me. She takes the time to not only discuss my labs but show them to me on her laptop. I love her bedside manners.

My mother was an 89-year-old colon cancer patient. On her first visit with Dr. Lee, the doctor wrote her off saying the chemo pill would do her no good. Then, scheduled another appt to see her 13 weeks later. Cancer patients are to start treatment within 14 weeks of surgery. This would have been 17 weeks after surgery. I found another oncologist who was kind, cautiously uplifting and took her as a patient. He began immediate treatment. Yesterday we saw him, and after two years, her markers still look great. She took one round of the chemo pill. I have no respect for a doctor who doesn't have compassion. My mother is elderly, but all of her doctors have called her spunky and in remarkable health for her age. Age is not an excuse to dismiss a patient. I have no respect for this woman.

Had visit post radical mastectomy, nothing special, no issue. Then had medication issue, called office they said stop medication until they could get me back in , in 2 weeks which I did. When I arrived Dr Lee came in mad "I cannot have you as a patient if you do not do EXACTLY as I say" Even male nurse intervened and said she (me) had questions regarding med issue. Dr Le yelled (even office ladies at front could hear) I was no longer a patient to not come back and "you are too fat", fat increases cancer so "I know you do not care". My weight had never been discussed, why not if that was an issue?? I had just had radical mastectomy, handling alone with no family support and was very fragile. All I did was cry, got dressed, was asked for co-pay which as I was paying both staff ladies at front and her own nurse apologized for what happened. Everyone had bad days but not to scream at a patient without discussion of the issue patient had come in for. Only people who are wrong yell at… others when questioned. Competent, caring physicians explain and discuss, not yell and turn their back on a cancer patient.

Dr. Lee is a perfect combination of competent and kind.

A few mo. Ago my regular Dr. Found a lump n my left breast and since canser kind of runs in my fam. I desided to move back from Florida to Texas I want the best Dr. In that area in that's Dr. Lee I know she took awzome care of my mother 10 yrs. With lymphoma GOD has control and put the right person in this case the right Dr.

The first time I meet doctor Lee was about 10 yrs. Ago I have meet so many different doctors after but none come closed to the care in dedication she gives to her patients, I give her not a five star but 10 star. Thank you so much Dr. Lee for given my mother the best care ever

Dr. Lee took care of my father when he was diagnosed with lung cancer. She is very competent and caring. Her bedside manner is awesome even when she has to deliver very bad news. We never felt rushed at any of our appointments. She always took the time to explain everything. I hope I never need another oncologist, but she would be my first choice.

Dr. Lee is very thorough and knowledgeable. I highly respect her as a doctor and chose her as my oncologist because of her experience, professionalism, and care.
