Dr. Arshi Taban Haque, MD

The staff member at the front desk is unfriendly and bitter. Always has an attitude with me especially over the phone and can obviously tell she dreads talking to me and seeing me. Ridiculous.

Dr Haque is caring, empathetic, and professional. She listens to you and makes sure to find the root cause of the problems. The prescriptions she gave me made a world of difference. After two weeks of meds I feel like a new person coming out of darkness. I’m very thankful. JS

It seems that each person has had a different experience with Dr. Haque. I can tell you after being a patient for 5 years, I have never once felt that she didn't care or was not looking out for my best interest. She carefully monitors my medication and makes adjustments as needed. I don't feel that she writes prescriptions and sends you on your way. The only thing I've experienced is that in the past, they phones always went to voicemail and had to wait 24-48 hours for a call back. This is not the case anymore. She has helped me greatly and I intend to stay with her.

I just saw my new psychiatrist (not Dr Haque) and for once feel like I have a plan going forward. I was under the care of Dr Haque for 2 years. She did not listen to my chief complaints and made assumptions. She often went back to these assumptions every visit and kept asserting that she was right. So she treated me based on those assumptions without taking into account my primary reason I was there. In short, she did not trust me. I do feel like she cared about me and my wellbeing. My new psychiatrist said I was on a serious anti-psychotic drug I should have never been on. For two years. I am happy I switched doctors and will be taking a much more conservative approach to my mental wellbeing.

Dr. Haque has been a godsend! She’s easily to open up to and she knows her stuff! Her medical knowledge has helped me be a better advocate with my overall health! I’m so thankful I found her!!!

Dr. Haque is cold and uncaring. She writes you a prescription and takes your money SHE DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOU! Her attitude is F/U. She has the most incompetent medical assistant on the planet. The assistant never answers the phone. When you are in the assistant's presence, she barks at you and threatens you. There are caring board certified physicians out there who want to help you. Don't waste your money on this horrible "doctor?". She, and especially her medical assistant, are in need of psychiatric help themselves. Don't just walk away, RUN!

As a patient of Dr. Haque for a year and a half, I can say that she did not help me at all. She was more interested in typing down what I said than talking to me as a human being! She did no physical exam, her sessions were rushed, she kept changing my meds and then when I told her that I wasn't feeling any better, she just shrugged her shoulders and said "I don't know what else to do!" She was somewhat belligerent,. Oh, she has the most incompetent receptionist! It takes about 20 calls before she answers! She should be fired! She spends more time on Facebook and ignores phone calls! Then when Dr.Haque gets tired of having you as as patient, she just fires you! I have never heard of such a thing! She knows that her patients can't just be cut off their meds ( most of us can go through severe withdrawal!), She would be responsible if one of her patient's went through withdrawal and had a gran mal seizure! I can't believe that the Medical Board of Texas has not receive letters from her… former patients and that she hasn't been investigated by the board yet! It is just a matter of time that this quack of a doctor loses her license to practice medicine in Texas!

Office close for uncertain time with out any prior notice. Did not get a call . Upon arrival for appointment a sign read closed. When she returned she was different and rude.

Do NOT go to dr. Haque! At first I was put to ease by her bedside manner and she seemed veryou genuine. But her secretary was almost impossible to get ahold of when needed. Then after being her patient for a 2 years she decides to drop me with ZERO explanation! And force me to stop taking all of my meds because I couldn't afford an initial consultation with a new doc! Then to make matters worse I've been trying to obtain a copy of my medical records for a year and a half and she has straight up refused to give me a copy! She has been contacted 7 times in 2 weeks and not even returned a phone call when she knows I'm urgently needing copies of my medical records. I will be taking legal action against her. Don't be fooled!

It was bad! She prescribed medications even though I begged her for help for a treatment center because I was hooked on heroin. She sent me home with detox meds! Her secretary was facebooking and put the phone on hold, so it would be busy and nobody got through. Really? Please don't bother! This is a dangerous place to go!
