Dr. Arthur Charles Weisenseel, MD

Dr. Weisenseel has been my doctor for over 20 years. Although I live in Philadelphia, where there are a multitude of excellent doctors, I drive hours to see Dr. Weisenseel. Here’s why. He spends time with me, not only to examine me, but to answer my questions about a condition or a concern. Unlike many doctors at large medical institutions, he answers my phone calls and personally discusses my test results.

He is knowledgeable, caring, generous with his time, will listen to you no matter how long it takes to address all your concerns. He also recommends the best specialists for anything that needs to be further looked into just to be sure. I feel like I am the best hands AND yes, he sings to me while I'm taking my stress test to distract me from focusing on the time I'm on the treadmill. It helps to keep me calm. Always calls to personally explain test results and returns calls if I have questions or concerns. Also, will see me asap if I'm having symptoms that concern me. Does your doctor do that?!

Excellent doctor, extremely knowledgeable and yes he likes his hobbies, but no they do NOT prevent him from giving care. I’ve known him for twenty five years, he’s taken care of me every one of those years.

extremely egotistical. more interested in singing rather than treating the patient. did not address any of my health issues. He is partially deaf. I will not recommend this doctor to anyone.
