Dr. Pentukonda is an excellent surgeon. He performed my double mastectomy and also put my port in and took it back out. He was kind and easy to talk to. He didn’t rush me and was willing to explain everything. I had full movement and almost no pain after my mastectomy. I was amazed. I would definitely recommend him.

He did my gallbladder surgery in 2002 and 2 months later i had a hernia because he insisted i sit up and it was straining those muscles but he was quite insistent i sit up. I will not have him fix my hernia. Now I had a problem with my liver and he told me i would never get better because i wouldn't walk when it was truly too painful. I did walk but not as often as he liked. He was rude and didn't explain himself or my condition and was quite insistent i go to a nursing facility when i was quite capable of caring for myself with some family assistance. If you don't mind mean dr.s and bad attitudes,i suppose the arrogance can be tolerated. I asked that he sign a paper i needed for work and he said, "oh, I don't do those kinds of things. I'm too busy."

He removed my gall bladder and left a stone in the tube leading out. Had to have another procedure the next day. This was supposed to be an out patient procedure but turned into a four day hospital stay. Was not told what was going on and didn't visit me every day. Had to get another doctor to sign me out of the hospital. Arrogant and aloof.
