Dr. Asad Khan Mohmand, MD

I have received a bill with Dr, Asad Mohmand listed but it is from Oklahoma Infectious Disease Specialists LLC. The bill is also for $900 and was not processed by Medicare. I contacted Dr. Mohmand and he knew nothing about the bill. He said he does not do direct billing and only works through the Hilcrest Hospital system. He had no idea who this organization was and why his name was being used.

I am receiving debt collection bills for services rendered by Dr. Mohmand for my mother (now deceased). The services occurred in May of 2024 and I started receiving debt collector bills from americollect in January 2025. This was the first time I had heard of the charges. I contacted Hillcrest Hospital in Tulsa where the services were rendered. They do not show any outstanding balance on my mother's account. I assume that Dr. Mohmand is a third party biller and that his office simply sends all charges directly to debt collections. I assume this because I do not see his charges on my mother's Medicare Part A Summary Notice for the May 2024 dates of service. Her insurance will not send me any information about any charges. I've also asked for more information from americollect about what the charges are for and have not received a reply. Charges total $2,542.00. And there are charges for four dates of service. It does not appear these charges were submitted to insurance as they are nice… even numbers of $900.00 and $616.00 and $410.00. I have spent hours on the phone trying to determine if these charges are valid. I will be posting negative reviews until I get someone from Dr. Mohmand to contact me about my mother's bill.

Such a great doctor, it's unfortunate that hateful coalition groups come on here to try and hurt his reputation. Myself and all other fellow patients I've met all speak of him very highly. From my interaction with them they have never been patients so reporting on him is fraudulent when leaving a review for a doctor you've never seen. He is very gregarious and pleasant to have as a doctor. I've always felt extremely comfortable trusting him with my treatment.

He is one of the best and most patient focused doctor I have ever encountered. All the other fellow patients of his I have come across also have great things about him. He has gotten me into his schedule last minute multiple times even though he had no appointments for the day. He has a genuine concern for his patients, he has always listened to my questions and concerns and answered them and has always made sure I was comfortable with the treatment plan in place. I've never met a doctor who is so knowledgeable and caring. If anyone needs an infectious disease doctor this is the only one I would ever considering recommending.

Very pleasant doctor's visit. Dr. Mohmand was friendly and personable and did not rush through the appointment. I felt very comfortable talking to him and he appeared to be very knowledgeable.
