What can I say about a doctor who has a load of awful support staff...????

I went to see Dr. Kapoor for a minor consultation. I am otherwise very healthy. He heard me coughing and I told him I had started coughing two days before. He ordered a strep test. It came negative, so he asked me if I needed a chest x-ray! He then made an order for lab blood work. Before I had it done I called my insurance. It turns out he ordered very complicated tests that were not necessary. While I was with him, he gave me very little feedback. It felt like he was more interested in all those tests and not in listening to what I had to say. Before he orders any tests, make sure they are necessary and not just "good to have."

I have been a patient of Dr. Kapoor's for almost 6 moths. I went to Dr. Kapoor after going through various primary care doctors. I had been sick for almost a month and knew I couldn't keep going to the urgent care. I did some research and found Dr. Kapoor. What attracted me to his office was the years of stability in one place. My first visit was great and not so great at the same time. He listened closely to what I had been experiencing. He was very thorough in his checkup. Upon checking my sinuses and throat, he stepped back and asked me if anyone had ever told me that one side of my thyroid was more swollen that the other. I was taken aback and said no. He said that we needed to get it checked out right away. He sent me for a cat scan and he called me personally with the results. I had a 5 cm mass on my thyroid that was pressing up against my windpipe. He immediately sent me to an ENT and in less than 3 months had half of my thyroid removed and the mass was benign. He always spends… a lot of time doing his best to do an accurate diagnosis. He knows the best specialists to send his patients to. I have never encountered a doctor like Dr. Kapoor. I cannot express how grateful I am to have found Dr. Kapoor to be my primary care doctor.

We have been patients of Dr. Kapoor's almost 20 years. We have referred many patients to him. Dr. Kapoor is the most compassionate, knowledgeable, primary care physician we have ever gone. We have never been turned down for a same day appointment, when necessary. He always spends a lot of time with us and he does "whatever it takes" to do an accurate diagnosis. He calls us personally with results of all our Lab Tests or any other procedure we have had. Because of Dr. Kapoor's thoroughness, our daughter was diagnosed almost immediately with cancer. He knows the correct specialist to send us to and does not hesitate referring us. He has always listened attentively to everything we say. I cannot express how grateful we are to have Dr Kapoor for our primary care doctor.

This is the BEST doctor I have been to so far. I am in the medical industry, and I know a few things. He was very through with his screening. He not only took care of what i was there for, but did more. He stayed 30 minutes past his closing time to make sure EVERYTHING was covered. **EXCELLENT LISTNER*** WE NEED MORE DOCTORS LIKE HIM..

He /His staff is MONEY HUNGRY and it's ship in ship out basis don't pay attention to what u r saying keeps telling the patients to do the follow up visits for the same issue wants more money all the time SUCKS
