Dr. Ashok Kanthawar, MD

This man needs his license revoked. He is verbally abusive to his patients and even physically grabbed my mother so hard he left a bruise on her because she could not get out of a chair quickly enough. He made zero effort to help her medically but he and his wife made countless phone calls after I left a bad review on Google. They should probably concern themselves with dealing with patients as opposed to spending all their time trying to clean up their bad reviews on Google. If you take care of your patients you won't have bad reviews.

Scheduled my extremely ill 82 year old mother for a procedure at St Joseph Hospital in London, Ky only to not schedule it with the hospital or even show up. I would have rated lower if possible!!

I’ve been a patient with Dr. Kanthawar for 3 years. I was diagnosed with UC. I’m very appreciative for Dr. Kanthawar and his staff. He’s very caring and to the point with your questions and concerns. My overall experience and care has been excellent!

He is a very caring specialist. He is out-spoken that some don’t like, but I do. He’s treated several in my family. He’s performed colonoscopies on us as well.

I would not recommend this Dr. to anyone. He did not listen to us. Or take us seriously and did not seam to care. Has done nothing to help my daughter out she has blisters all over the inside of her mouth. Can barely eat or drink. He has done nothing to help her out. She is in so much pain. And is coughing on acid. She has not been able to attend school. So this has been a very frustrating experience. With very little help.

He will not take time to talk to the patient. Hears nothing when you try to speak. He isn't very observant. The two ladies in office are excellent!! Very professional, and friendly.

Over all excellent doctor, really cares about his patients health
