Dr. Ashok Varadaraj Sharma, MD

Dr. Sharma is one of the best primary care providers I've ever had. He is thorough, looks ahead to what I might need for the future, gets back to me promptly with test results, and readily provides referrals. He works as well with the staff at my retirement community. His office staff is welcoming and provides immediate follow-up. What more could I ask!

He is a fine diagnostician, has a remarkable memory for one's medical history, is friendly and really concerned about his patients and never makes you feel rushed. I saw the poor reviews elsewhere after being assigned Dr. Sharma by my health care provider. Although I must commend Dr. Sharma for my initial visit, his staff is the worst I've ever had the displeasure of meeting (polite ambivalence, to put it mildly), and there's been NO follow up service provided despite inquiry after inquiry. (!) I would NEVER recommend this establishment to anyone, and felt compelled to write, which I have never done before today; my experience has been just that TERRIBLE.

Dr. Sharma exhibited care and personal interest in me and what I needed. He took the time to answer all my questions and is very good about referring to another doctor when a specialist is needed.
