Dr. Asif Mukhtar Lakha, MD

I am supposed to see this provider for pancreatic endoscopy yearly, this is always a very high anxiety experience for me. He makes me feel like it is just a matter of time until the worst happens to me and I leave feeling hopeless worried. I asked him to remove notes that upset me from my outgoing papers every time I leave any doctor at Lutheran General (Which is frequent) and he refused. I will no longer be seeing this provider.

Dr. Lakha is not timely. He only answered questions when families or patients became upset. He performed procedures but sent his associates to answer questions. Furthermore, his office staff was unfriendly and not at all helpful in scheduling appointments

Dr. Lahka really took his time to explain symptoms & put my mind at ease as he painstakingly educates his patients.
