Dr. Atif B Collins, MD

met with Dr. Collins twice before I decided to schedule surgery. Each visit I realized his personality was very blunt which at first I did appreciate since he was being honest about the procedure and the obvious risks. I had other consultations but I decided to go with him despite other negative reviews. I requested one more follow-up appointment to go over my last minute questions and concerns, because you know…eye surgery is kind of a big deal. I felt completely dismissed and felt like no F’s were given. I’ve been waiting to finally get this surgery done, I don’t doubt Dr. Collins ability to do what I needed done, but if he’s that nonchalant about my concerns, what would he be like during surgery? Just not a comfortable feeling at all.

I have never met a more down to earth and personable doctor. He took the time to talk to my husband and I and answer all of our questions. He thoroughly explained the procedure my husband was going to have and made us feel at ease. Kaiser is lucky to have Dr. Collins on their staff!

Dr. Collins did surgery on me two weeks ago. I found him highly skilled, very friendly and humble. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Collins was willing to set aside ego and pretense to consult others specialist to address treatment of my rare cancer. He is truly concerned with saving my life. I am so grateful for my new oncologist to include him in my treatment.

Awful & unfortunately unable to give less than 1 star. Far from medically professional. Definitely had a second opinion done.

I have called his office over 5 times in the past 3weeks with some very serious questions. He told his secretary tha he tried to call back but there was no answer, but that was a lie because we have voice mail and caller ID

I couldn't begin to tell you how arrogant, rude, and incompetent this doctor is. Please just keep looking elsewhere.
