Dr. Audrey Ann Bromberger, MD

Dr Bromberger was one of the worse doctors I ever went to. I saw her for years and she repeatedly gave me bad medical advice. After reading the reviews I see she hasn’t changed. Find another dr who cares about her patients and just human life in general.

Had a horrible experience...was bleeding internally for 3 days after a routine hysterectomy before she decided something was wrong. Made the comment that I was the first patient she had to reopen....like it was my fault. Very arrogant

My son is 7 years old now and I should have written a lot earlier to help other women. Because of this painful experience, we decided not to have one more. Perhaps I cannot have anymore... I delivered at Edward Hospital in the evening. I was told she had 5 other deliveries scheduled that evening. She was so busy I rarely saw her. Infact the nurse did all the work and the dr came in very briefly at the end. After the delivery she spent a few seconds going through the vitals only. A little did she know that I was bleeding inside. Nurses kept trying to contact her that the bleeding is not stopping, but they were told by her to give me shots and that's all. I was given drugs during the night to simply induce labor as if I am giving birth AGAIN. I don't know if this was to stop the bleeding? After a while I was incoherent. She finally showed up around 7 am and realized she screwed up and that I needed surgery immediately. She pulled out a big chunk of coagulated blood… which looked like several lbs of liver according to my husband, then I was wheeled into the operating room for sugery. This time, she did not waste any time. I had to sign for 2 pints of blood transfusion, and had to take mega doses of iron following the surgery for 30 days because I didn't want any more of other people's blood. An average person has about 5 pints of blood. After 3 months, I had to have another surgery because I had abdominal pain just wouldn't go away. She deserves no STAR. A year has past and my neighbor and I were talking about doctors and realized she, too had Dr. Bromberger. She was having labor pains but the doctor told her that it wasn't real and told her to go home. But this was her 4th baby and she just knew that it was real. So against the dr's order she stayed and ended up having the baby. Two for two she failed!!!! Ladies be very very careful with this dr. You're putting both lives in jeopardy. I tried to take her to court, but was told by a lawyer that patients almost never win and no drs will testify against another. And I had to spend $2500 to start the case, which I did not have. He did write a letter to the doctor of my ordeal hoping she would take some responsibility, But she denied all. I had no choice but to let it go.

I find her to be rude and offensive. I had the unfortunate circumstance of encountering outside the realm of medicine, and knowing that she is a doctor, I would NEVER seek her medical services. I can only imaine how poor her bedside manner is. I have not encountered a pompous women such as her in a very long time, and I was a nurse in surgical ICU working amongst a lot of egos. She is probably the most offensive person I have had to deal with in a long time. I would certainly consider seeking medical care from someone who is more professional and considerate,

Horrible bedside manner, talked the entire time she was listening to my baby's heartbeat, I couldn't even hear the heartbeat because she was talking so much. Slammed the door 3 times. Criticized me for bringing a list of questions to ask. Made me feel VERY uncomfortable, I'm switching doctors, which is a shame because I like her partner Dr Hsia, but I do not want to take the chance that this woman would be present during the birth of my first child.

Looked everywhere for an MD willing to work with me to manage perimenopause with bio-identical hormones. Dr. Bromberger was great, very encouraging, and helped me find solutions that made life livable again. I found her very personable and efficient - I come prepared and we don't waste a lot of time when I am there.
