Dr. Austin James Chaput, DO

Dr Chaput is the most thorough and caring doctor I have ever met.

I really appreciate Dr Chaput’s bedside manner and his willingness to answer any and all questions. I felt that he listened to my concerns about the kind of care I hoped to find with my specialists and gave me lots of options to look into.

I find Dr. Chaput to be one of the best family practice doctors I've ever had. He is engaging, easy to talk to, funny, and is very attentive. I appreciate the new facility on CR210, which is convenient, as is the co-located lab. Terrific doctor and a great staff.

I don't know about all the negative comments, but Dr. Chaput took a real interest in my problem and a great bedside manner. He gave all the time needed to understand and diagnose my symptoms.

I had a wellness visit. I had a concern about a nodule in my armpit. He handed me a piece of paper and sat there until I sign it stating he will charge me more money to talk about this. I was scared about the nodule being there and his only concern was about charging me more money not my well being.

He handed me a piece of paper to sign stating he can not talk about a nodule in my armpit without charging me more money and he sat there looking at me til I sign it. Very unprofessional I was so scared about the nodule he did not care about my concern only money from me.

Doctor was an excellent listener and addressed my medical problems. I am very happy with my current care and will be bringing my children for care.

This doctor and I use the word loosely cares nothing about you or what you need done he just wants to rush you in and rush you out. And especially if you're on Medicare or Social Security insurance. I have Asperger's and I need someone who can at least communicate well and this guy wanted to tell me about his education and how he knows what he knows how smart is and yet I'm three-time cancer survivor and I came to him to get referrals to a gynecologist and a neurologist and he wants to send me to a GI doctor for my stomach problems and an eye doctor for my vision but what about my cancer issues what about the mass in my pelvic that the emergency room found what about the fact that I can't swallow and then I faint and feel like I'm being strangled what about the love that they found he doesn't care about any of that that's two major for him to work with so he'll pick the smaller thing my hiatal hernia and work on that which is not going to help me. I have a cloudy liver but he didn't… want to send me to anyone for that either and I don't drink or do drugs. His bedside manner was arrogant and unfriendly and I would absolutely not refer him for any reason and I'm a very kind person but he is not a good doctor
