Update: I JUST received a call from the office from the office manager, DIANNA. She THREATENED me JUST A MIN AGO that the doctor is going to file a HARRASMANT LAWSUIT for WRITING this REVIEW!! THREATENING ABOVE AND BEYOND! WOW!! I hanged up the phone! The review: I am negatively influenced by this doctors office and I feel obligated to make others aware of them MISINFORMING me, and HANDLING INSURANCE CLAIM WRONG. 1. My insurance referred me to this doctor. Both when I was making the appointment as well as the day of the appointment they run my insurance and told me that my insurance covers the first office visit. 2. On the day of the appointment everything went smooth. Then they called me saying the doctor wants to see me to discuss my lab results for which I have to pay 150 dollar office visit. I told them I need a copy of my lab results and do NOT wish to see the doctor to READ me the lab result as both of my parents are DOCTORS. They REFUSED to give me a copy of my lab result.… Then I physically went to the office to get a copy, when they told me again that I DO NEED TO SEE THE DOCTOR TO GET MY LAB RESULT! Then I told them this does NOT sound right, I need to call my insurance to make sure that this is a must, and THAT WAS WHEN THEY SAID THEY CAN CHARGE ME 15 DOLLARS AND MAKE A COPY OF THE LAB PAPER. I said I still want to talk to my insurance to know of my rights, WHEN THEN THEY OFFERED A “FREE” COPY. I still called my insurance and they confirmed that for me to get the lab result I am NOT OBLIGATED to see the doctor. They in fact were trying to MAKE ME PAY THE SECOND OFFICE VISIT WHICH WAS NOT COVERED BY MY INSURANCE AT ALL! At the end I was able to get a FREE copy of the lab result without having to pay 150 to see the doctor AFTER PUTTING SO MUCH EFFORT TO GET MY RIGHTS AND BEING INSTRUCTED BY MY INSURANCE COMPANY. If I was not aware of the health system, I might have been fooled and listened to them. EVERYBODY PLEASE BE CAUTIOUS. 3. 7 month later they send a 150 dollars bill to me for the FIRST office visit, which they had previously told me they will bill the insurance and I do NOT need to pay anything. I call the office asking about the bill and they say my insurance did not pay them and I have to pay out of pocket and IMMEDIATELY THEY FINISH THEIR SENTENCE by saying they will OTHERWISE SEND THE BILL TO COLLECTION. As I am panicking I call my insurance and my insurance say THE DOCTOR NEVER SENT ANY CLAIM TO MY INSURANCE! My insurance told me they HAD TO SEND THE BILL TO MY INSURANCE DIRECTLY, AND THE OFFICE SHOULD KNOW THAT, BUT NOT ONLY THEY DID NOT FOLLOW THE PROTOCOLS, BUT ALSO THREATENED ME WITH COLLECTION!! EVERYBODY PLEASE BE CAUTIOUS. If I was not aware of my rights and did not call my insurance, they might have made me pay them right there over the phone by bringing up the collection matter. 4. My insurance affirmed me the bill will be covered by them, AND THE OFFICE DID NOT FOLLOW THE PROTOCOL, AND THEY HAD TO BILL MY INSURANCE. Not only they did NOT DO THEIR JOB RIGHT, BUT ALSO THEY GAVE ME ANXIETY FOR BRINGING UP THE COLLECTION. 6. I am doing my part to make possible future patients of this office aware by writing this REVIEW as I wish I never went to this office. The doctors office that FALSELY INFORMS THE PATENT THAT THEY NEED TO SEE THE DOCTOR AND PAY OFFICE VISIT IN ORDER TO SEE THEIR LAB RESULT IS FRAUD.
