Dr. Ayaz Ul-Haque Malik, MD

I was seen by Dr Malik a couple of years ago. I came to Sioux falls from Yankton in an ambulance. I had bleeding on my brain. He met with my wife and myself told us what he was going to do and after giving him the okay he went ahead and did it. I was very impressed with his bedside manners. Also he calmed my wife's nerves as well as we were both basket cases when we came in. After 3 days in ICU they sent me to another room for a day and then I was sent home. If it would not have been for his excellent work to get the blood off of my brain I wouldn't be here today. I feel very blessed to be under his doctoring at a serious time like this. Dr. Malik treated me as if I was his family from the moment I met him. He and Dr. Castenada were treating me for a huge Prolactinoma. They were able to treat me without surgery, with medication only. Treatment was very successful!! He stated my recovery was miraculous. Wonderful Doctors!!

Dr Malik was referred to me by my doctor of 25 years who had been working with me through dibilatating back problems. He didn't rush his assessment of my condition or try to rush me into surgery. If back surgery could ever be a wonderful experience, this one was! I totally trust Dr Malik and would personally recommemd him to my friends and family who could also benefit from is expertise.

Staff is rude and hard to interact with, they act like you are bothering them. Doctor seems very unconcerned and and unsympathetic.After getting a second opinion, the diagnosis I was given was very worse case scenario and he was just very "doom and gloom". He makes his money cutting on people and it seems that he is just in it for the paycheck.
