Dr. Aylin Y Ozdemir, MD

Since I started puberty I've had agonizing periods with heavy flows that consistently lasted eight days. No medicine has ever worked. I almost got sent to the hospital after downing six advil and four tylenol. I fought for years to get birth control, sometimes even against the staff at her office who told me to "just use a condom". After finally getting birth control, she took away my prescription after two years saying that it would cause brain clots. My new doctor has no idea where that logic came from and neither do I. She and her office prevented me from getting treatment for years causing dysphoria and major chronic suffering. I would never recommend her to anyone.

I have seen countless doctors over the nine years that my daughter has been sick. Not one of them comes close to Dr. Ozdemir’s level. She is tireless in her pursuit of the root cause, she is knowledgeable, comprehensive and compassionate. I am thankful everyday that we found her and trust her completely with caring for my daughter. Also, her office staff is amazing, and compassionate as well.

Doctor ozdemir is very rushed and always behind. She is always sending my child to the hospital for simple things. Will be finding another doctor

Used to like going to this doctor. Thought her ideas and recommendations for my child were wonderful. However, it seems like the last few times I've been there when my child was sick with some sort of respiratory issue (not a situation where my child could not breathe, mind you), she (or one of her staff) recommends we go to the ER for x-rays! Really? The ER? News Flash - you don't need to go to the ER for chest Xrays anymore!!! Many urgent care medical centers have xray machines onsite!! And there's plenty of urgent care centers in Jacksonville. Hmm, let's see do I want to pay an urgent care office visit co-pay of $35 or an ER visit co-pay of $300 + co-insurance!!! After reading some of the latest reviews here, I'm probably going to take my child to another doctor's office.

My daughter went to this clinic and she was getting the t vaccine for school. I look over to see her crying and screaming at me because she saw what looked like rust on the needle. I confronted the doctor only to be told to shut up. Never coming her again.

My child has been going here for a little over 2 years and she is 4 years of age. She went in for her vaccines and they shoved the vaccines in so hard that they got stuck in her. She let go and it was just dangling out of her arm. Never go here.

I’m a patient there. I’m 14 now. I had to go for an injection and she shoved it in my arm so hard that I started bleeding everywhere. She didn’t even put a bandage on it. Another time I had to go for my 12 year old physical and she just threw the robe at me without telling me what to do. I was confused and took of my undies and everything aand then she fussed at me to put them back on.

We had the most terrifying experience with this doctor. She put our baby through SO much because of a common cold. She completely overreacted to a fever and the scene at their Ponte Vedra office was like out of a horror movie. We were sent to Wolfson’s because of -again - a common cold and the staff at the hospital looked confused not knowing why we were sent there, especially by ambulance. There was nothing wrong with our daughter but, guess what, a common cold. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. She’s very unprofessional and could not keep the situation under control. She freaked out and wasn’t telling us what was happening. Screaming at staff, going absolutely crazy, injected our daughter with an antibiotic shot without letting us know (nobody knows what for), gave her two doses of Tylenol back to back (thank God she threw up the second one). It was the craziest thing we’ve ever experienced. Please stay away from this practice.

This physician is non empathetic and will not admitt when mistakes are made through the office. I believe they are simply too busy to take good care of their patients at this point.
