Dr. Ayub Hussain, MD

I had went to Dr. Hussain for a follow up and he asked me how I was doing and if I had any problems or pains. I told him for a 75 year old male felt like I was doing pretty good but a couple of weeks ago while bowling had a little pain in my chest, one of my team mates had some nitro glycerin and after spraying it under my tongue pain went away. He shut down my app. with him and got on the phone to a heart specialist and got me an app. that day. Turned out I had 95% blockage in a main artery and had to have open heart surgery. If not for Dr. Hussain I would not be here today.

Dr. Hussain was very personable with me, from the first visit to my hospital procedure. He spoke with my son regarding the results and was very thorough. I WILL continue to see him!

The most uncaring and rude doctor I think I have ever encountered. This man has the absolute worse bedside manner.

He attended to me in the hospital after being admitted for severe vomiting and abdominal pain. He shows obvious contempt for his patients and refuses to answer questions, only saying "come see me as outpatient."

I have had two colonoscopy and one scope done by Dr Hussain. All of my experiences have been positive. He has a very calm relaxed bedside manner and really listens to what I say. My wife is his patient also and she is very pleased with him. I would definitely recommend him.

Went one time - scheduled a colonoscopy - had many in my life with no problems but after the one he did, I came home with terrible pain for 24 hours, Office staff would not get him to call me back - just said come back in 3 weeks for apptmt. Finally called answering service twice at 0500 am next day and he called. Very uncaring - had biopsy report in two days but wanted me to wait three weeks!! I sent report to Uma Mohan and went to her in two days to get clean report and a new doctor. Hussain - never again./

This doctor is rude and very unconcerned about one of his patients... I am extremely dissatisfied with this man's ethics!!

Caring and excellent doctor

I have been going to Dr Hussain for many years. I asked my primary care doctor to refer me to someone else, but he asked me to give him a chance. I did and I am sorry that I did. Dr. Hussain does no examine you. He says very little then he tells you to have tests run. At the follow up visit he looks at your chart then gives you a print out with no explanation. He told me I needed to have part of my colon removed. Then he told me to have blood work done and schedule another CT scan. Then he gave me a card with the name of a surgeon. I was told to schedule a meeting with the surgeon but never told me why I needed the surgery. All he told me was that my colonoscopy looked bad. I would never recommend Dr, Hussain to anyone. He does NOT care about the patient !!!
