Dr. Babak Meir Goldman, MD

If I could give zero stars, I would. Dr. Goldman is unprofessional, judgmental and a liar. Every appointment he will not even consider listening to what you have to say- he makes up his mind about you even before meeting and is incredibly arrogant.

"Goldman was my fathers doctor during his last days in ICU. Goldman was rude and heartless with no bedside manners. He kept pressuring us for a decision on my father and would get upset and cursed at us when we weren't ready with a decision quickly. He was heartless in his approach saying whatever decision we made it was going to be "expletive". He needs to take a course in manners and compassion because he has none

Dr. Babak Goldman is an awful doctor he has no bedside manner, he is treating my dad at Providence Saint Joseph, my dad has been admitted since Dec 4, 2020. Dr. Goldman is undecisive in his care and recommendations, he told us that basically our dad has no quality of life and when we asked about a procedure Dr. Goldman recommended, and we said we have hope and faith that maybe this option will help our dad, he said "hope! What is hope?!" . I find that surprising from a hospital that choose to work at a Catholic hospital, where we believe in having hope, faith and the power of prayers. I hope no one ever puts their loved one in the care of Dr. Babak Goldman, and I hope no one ever tells him to no have "hope" for one of his loved ones.

Dr Goldman is one of those doctors who takes the time to really understand not just the medical side before giving a prognosis, but also personal history. In doing so, he uncovers what others miss. He doesn't just stop there. He then works hand in hand with you and his team of doctors to work with any other doctors to deliver you outstanding care! I felt like I had a whole team working just to help me. It felt concierge. Not only that, he works longer and with more care than anyone. I was able to contact him anytime I had an issue...and he made me feel comfortable to do so. In waiting to meet with him one day, I met another patient. Their experience was exactly like mine. He makes you feel like his only patient. Taking time and giving of himself completely. Interestingly, he makes all his patients feel like that too.

Dr Goldman has been taking care of me for over a year under his palliative care. He has cared for me far and above any physician I have ever had. Even when he was out of town and I was in the hospital after surgery, he called to check on me. He is available 24/7. I have never met anyone like him who truly has passion for his career and beyond compassion for his patients. I am alive today because he has taken the best care of me.

Excellent physician Help our family through a very difficult time. If you ever end up at Providence Saint Joe's in Burbank, definitely as for him.
