Dr. Badri Nonavi Nath, MD

My experience was a big nightmare. The Dr did not wait for sedation to kick in, he rammed the colon scope into my rear, I bled, and nearly kicked his teeth out as hurt so so much. He got angry, yelled at me. Was terribly rude, no bedside manners at all. I rate him F-. I do not recommend him at all, never ever.

I think part of the problems with negative input is because Dr. Nath comes from a different country and culture which, uses a completely differently approach to things, so he can be misunderstood. During my first visit, he also said to me, "You look stressed" and he was right!.. I was! I did not know what is going on inside my abdomen. Before and after endoscope, he and his assistants were very nice caring and people. It took but a minute to put me to sleep. I actually did not realize I was done until he stood by my bedside and reassured me that all went well and the problem may be coming from H Pylori. Once it was all over and the good news, I found him to have a great sense of humor. Laughter is the best medicine. A few days later, his staff called me to let me know my blood work is normal. I realize people are in pain but this is serious work, and we need to realize during the inital visit, he has to visually annulize the patient so he can make the best decision for them.

This dr was rude. He said I was nervous yes I had pain lost ten pounds. Diarrhea sick six weeks. Did nothing for me. I would not take my dog to him

Badri Nath decided that my GERD was caused by stress. In my 1st appointment with him he told me I should meditate. My primary care physician next ordered an endoscopy. This made Badri Nath very angry and when I went in for the proceedure he performed it without sedation. He had 3 people hold me down and then jammed the tube down my throat and into my stomache. I have had panic attacks since he did this. I ended up having to have a fundaplacation surgery at Cedars to fix my very real GERD. AVOID THIS DR!

ALL THIS DOCTOR WANTS TO DO IS ENDOSCOPY'S AND COLONOSCOPY'S. BILLS MEDICARE $236 FOR 4 MINUTES AND HE'S OUT THE DOOR. HAS NO ANSWERS AND REFERRED ME BACK TO MY INTERNIST TO ORDER A CATSCAN TO SEE WHY I STILL HAVE PAIN IN MY STOMACH AFTER HE PERFORMED AN ENDOSCOPY, GAVE ME A 14 DAY REGIMENT OF DRUGS AND I STILL HAVE PAIN. HE'S THE GASTRO SPECIALIST, NOT MY INTERNIST. HE HAS NO ANSWERS AND SEEMS MORE INTERESTED IN PERFORMING THE TWO INVASIVE TESTS FOR BIG BUCKS THAN TRYING TO RESOLVE MY PROBLEM. NOW I'M OUT THE DOOR AND NOT COMING BACK. TIME TO FIND A GOOD GASTROENTEROLOGIST.
