Dr. Balakrishna Reddy Mangapuram, MD

It's been a while since I visited this doctor in the six year period that he was my PCP. I don't remember asking for him at all, but my insurance company stuck me with him because he was well located to my home. Very long story short, I needed a referral for a new doctor. They called his office, hoping he'd fax one over. Instead, his office person yelled at us, (we were on speaker phone) and said that since I hadn't been there in two years, the doctor dropped me as a patient. No rhyme or reason to it. I haven't been ill and had no need to see him. He never bothered to drop me a notice in the mail. It's a blessing. I've been dragging my feet about finding a new PCP, because he is just a very strange person.

u have 2 make appt 4 EVERYTHING so he can charge ins. never calld 2 give me results 4 physical, when i called them 2 months later, he immediately told his gal to tell me everything was fine, as if he was holding my chart that moment.. i have been diabetic for years now & my hormones are off but he didnt know that?! when he didnt have information my ins asked for, he got frustrated and began to 'yell' at ME, because they wanted him to justify something! if u have a cold, he may be gr8, but nething more complicated, RUN!! he has 1 gal working both his offices, who is clueless of how to run a doctors office. if u have a cold, this doc may b ur guy. but anything more complex, he gets overwhelmed, and cannot handle it. im sure he means well. but, hypothetically, just because i 'want' to make your wifi work better for u, doesnt make me equipped to do that job!! There are too many other doctors in the area, who are better equipped to put your family's health in their hands.

He is wonderful

I saw Dr M for Exam. I thought he was pleasant. I thought the front office was pleasant. My visit was fine.

All this man cares about is collecting money, he has a empty office w just a BP machine and a thermometer!! Your in and out in less than 5min because he don't care about patients, he don't answer questions, etc. if u just want to get antibiotics cause your sick he's ok for that but anything else your wasting your time

It was my first visit. He used to be my Ex-Husband's Doctor and it has been 4 years since I last saw him. He listened and that is rare to find. My last doctor was not a listener and his way was the only way, but Dr. Mangapuram listened and offered options. He met me in the midde. That is a great thing.

he's really awkward but he does care. even though i told him i'll never quit smoking, he still tries. Happy new years doc

Started Dr. Mangapuram's diet program. My first visit to the office was prompt the staff got me right in , we did the weigh in and I saw Dr. Mangapuram. He's very nice and listened to my weight loss challenges. His advice was great and the rx he gave me to help with my weight loss has me finally seeing results. I've already lost 10lbs. The office staff was, helpful. The office clean and up to date. Dr. M is a great Dr. from what i can tell. I would highly recommend him.

I don't know why the ratings are so low. He is excellent and his years of experience reflect on how he treated me with my health issues. The only thing is that he is difficult to reach at times.

Does not care to follow-up on very important health issues from my past that impact my life now. Does not bother with helping me to take care of physical problems needing specialists. Does not show a real concern for my health and well-being.
