his office manager goes above and beyond to make sure everything is taken care of. very patient and very attentive. thank you for answering my many questions and helping resolve issues.

Efficient, friendly, and highly competent -- he doesn't waste my time with frivolous small talk (appointments rarely exceed 15 minutes), and the course of treatment is still the best I have experienced. Wish I could give 6 stars!

I found Dr. Dhillon to be apathetic, impatient, arrogant, & defensive. The exact qualities you should NOT have as a psychiatrist. I was recently diagnosed with ADHD & he only wanted to prescribe adderall. I did not like the side effects & asked if he could suggest an alternative. His apathetic & irritated response was, “Adderall is what I prescribe most. It works the best.”….Such an odd answer from a seasoned Psychiatrist. I had spoken with my PCP & done my own research & was told that vyvanse could be a good alternative as it is smoother & most people do not experience crashes from it. When I suggested what my PCP suggested, he snapped back with “Well then why didn’t you ask her to prescribe it you?” Hello, she’s not a mental care specialist. YOU are! Every time I asked him relevant questions about my condition & medication, he would respond in irritation & exasperation. I would tell him what I read in my own research via articles & forums & just wanted his opinion &/or clarification… from him. He responded with “What degrees do they have? Why would you listen to them? They are not experts. Everyone’s body is different & everyone responds differently to different medications.” This from a man who couldn’t take time or care to help me find an alternative to adderall. He then proceeded to call me OCD for doing internet research. Perhaps I wouldn’t feel the need to do my own research & educate myself if he was more approachable & willing to answer my questions & concerns in a patient & caring manner. I told him that patient should be able to ask their Dr questions & that he didn’t seem to care. His response? “Maybe you should go find someone who cares.” WOW. This from a “Dr” who deals with people who have depression, anxiety, PTSD, etc. Don’t waste your time & money with this man. He has no business being a psychiatrist. Do yourself a favor & go find yourself a real Dr who actually cares about helping people. Hope this helps.

Dr. Dhillion is an absolute professional. His attitude towards his patients is as if they are equals and looks at their symptoms as if they are his own. Rarely do I write reviews, and this Dr. Is worth one of them. I was very nervous about seeing a psychiatrist and the experience was wonderful. Every time I visit, he spends a decent amount of time with me and listens to what I am actually saying. So many dr's just pass off your concerns and write you a script of the new hottest drug. Not this guy. He really does want what's best for you.

I've had nothing but good experiences when I see Dr. Dhillon at the Dulles Technology Drive office in Herndon. His office hours are pretty limited because he works out of many locations, but getting an appointment is easy and the wait is almost nonexistent.
