Dr. Baominh Philip Vinh, MD

Dr. Vinh is awesome. He has a sweet personality and can be pretty funny at times. I was recently having horrible nerve pain in my back, legs and feet that had escalated within the week. He normally treats me with medication monthly for diabetic nerve pain but something had gone horribly wrong in my body and I had no idea what. He was able to get me approved for injections the same day! He explained to me that in some cases, insurance companies don't make this an easy feat. But he takes the time to get on the phone with insurance companies and fights for you. The first time I had injections it was done by another doctor and I was sedated. This time, no sedation and only felt what I can describe as a mosquito bite and a little pressure. He's genuinely caring, gentle and he knows his stuff.

I went to my appt on tuesday for botox injections for migraines, the Dr injected in my neck and back. None in the head, how is this helping my migraines? I also informed him that we are doing a military move on Monday and I lost my Morphine. He told me to get a police report and fax it to him and he would fill it. I'm already in detox, so my husband took me to the police station to file a report. Officer Johnson of the Montgomery County Sheriff's informed us, they don't do police report for lost medication. I had to keep running back and forth to the restroom the entire time of the conversation. We tried calling the Woodlands office but no one answered, so I informed the Houston Office about the wrong info that was put out. This is definitely not a way to treat a disabled patient, especially during an infusion week for polymyositis. What can me done for me?

Dr. Vinh has been a true blessing for me. I have been suffering with poorly managed pain for over 10 years follow a serious horseback riding accident. Dr. Vinh has given me excellent pain management using not only medications, but also including injections. I feel that I am not just the next patient to be seen, rather an individual that Dr. Vinh is truly concerned and caring about. He always listens to me and he has an excellent staff to support him. I would highly recommend him to my family, friends or anyone needing help managing their pain. I believe he will do everything he can to help give your life back!

Dr Vinh is an excellent Dr. he is friendly, spends time listening to you and is open to trying and exploring alternative options to address your pain issues. I also like that he isn’t always pushing and demanding injections, although they are available. Very nice caring doctor.

Dr. Vinh is a wonderful doctor with a incredible bedside manner. If you go to his 1960 location be sure to get all your questions answered while you are there for your appointment. Although the girls are very nice at his 1960 location they NEVER answer the phone when you call and are NOT very prompt about returning your call after leaving a message either. Now the girls at The Woodlands location ALWAYS answer the phone and are super efficient so if either location works for you definitely go to his office in The Woodlands!

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Vinh. Compared to my last doctor, he’s a million toned more thorough. His procedures are painless and he uses advanced imaging to do things well. He’s truly wonderful.

I didn't have an appointment but I needed help with important paperwork that had to be sent by the office. Of course its never easy when you in need and the next person could care less. I've been seein Dr. Vinh for about 4 months now and I have been very satisfied. He is always very friendly, never rushed and listened to what I have to say and takes time to talk to me. The wait time is sometimes very long, I am okay with it, Dr. Vinh is that good of a Dr. for the wait.
