Dr. Barbara Anne Cavallaro, MD

Her bedside manner is not good. She is very detached, cold, and was in no way helpful in the treatment of my condition. Her office staff is awful and have the nastiest attitudes I have ever experienced in my life.

I'm a new patient and Dr Cavallaro made me feel welcome and at ease. I liked her immediately and was very comfortable with her. she is very thorough, I never felt rushed and all my questions were answered. the staff was great, it was easy to get an appt and there was no wait time. they are very respectful of patients time which is not usually the case.

Absolute worst. Her staff is incredibly incompetent and rude. I visited twice - once for my annual and once for the nexplanon. During my second visit, her staff directed me to the wrong room multiple times and told me to change into a gown when I was not supposed to. They told me to then change back and move to another room without even apologizing about their mistake. To make matters worse, Dr. Cavallaro barged in without a warning as I was undressed with a simple "oops!". They also submitted the lab for my annual faultily, resulting in the insurance company not convering the costs and Quest billing me for it. After multiple calls to their office to rectify the situation, they still have not corrected THEIR mistake, after over four months. Honestly, just find a doctor that actually cares about and respects you.

Haven't been to the new office yet, but I would follow Dr. Cavallaro wherever she goes.

Everyone in this office is terrific. Doctors spend the time with you and never feel rushed. I have been a patient here for several years and been very pleased with the service and high quality medical care.

This doctor made it clear to me that she did not care for her patients. I came with my mom as a brand new patient and got a terrible feel of the place immediately. We arrived literally 2 minutes late because of the lack of parking in Hackensack and the rude front desk lady told us we had to wait until after the patient scheduled after us went, who arrived after us. We felt like we were punished and humiliated. When we asked to talk to the Dr. Cavallaro before doing the charts because we wanted to make sure we wanted to be on the same page about things and make sure we were comfortable about the doctor we were seeing, the office manager refused to comply. When we said we were going to leave, this extremely rude office manager along with the front desk lady basically invited us out. It hurt me that Dr. Cavallaro did not take any effort to stop TWO customers from leaving her door or do anything to stop the harassment we got from her staff. Not someone you want to share info about such… personal places of a female, that's for sure

Dr. Cavallaro is caring and thorough. Gave her cell number to my daughter when she was having a health issue. Who does that?!? I see her even though she doesn't take my insurance!!!! Awesome doctor!!

I will definitely use her as my gynecologist from now on. She is excellent. Kind, compassionate and caring.

My appointments are like a visit with a dear friend!
