Dr. Barbara Marie Kuczynski, MD

Extremely rude, demeaning, fast to hang up on you front desk. I’m not sure of her name, but she answers calls. She never takes the time to actually listen to my question, and cuts me off every single time with a very rude tone. And in person, she’s constantly slamming the window shut even while I’ve been standing there to ask a simple question. And is always eye rolling with patients. Bad customer service on phone and in person. She’s clearly not who should be the front line person in an office, let alone interacting with patients. Lost customer Dr.

Dr. Barbara Kuczynski, with a team of very professional and efficient staff, provides excellent eye care. She has treated members of my family for traumatic eye injury, cataracts, low vision, retinal disease and yearly complete eye exams. We have never been disappointed. Office wait times are very short.

I was sent to her office by the Beaumont walk in clinic for the reason that during an examination I had briefly seen double. This was the first examination in which it was not obvious that the examiner was in a hurry, but rather was looking to see what my condition actually was. I was very pleased with that! What she found was that the vision in my eyes was very different and also that I had the beginnings of cataract development. The cataract symptoms that she described are exactly what I have been experiencing for several months before this. The conclusion from the examination was that the double vision was the result of fatigue, this time because I had been suffering from the flu when I went to the walk in clinic at Beaumont. There were no follow up visits because no treatment was needed.

I recent took my four children to Dr Kuczynski for eye exams. She was so wonderful with them. Especially, my extremely nervous child. She was patient and thourogh. She Discussed her finds in terms that I could understand. I didn't feel rushed! We love her and would recommend her to anyone!!!

I went in with an eye injurry with a cable wire stuck in my eye. It was an emergency. Shee preoccupied. I told her I had an abrasion on my eye but she was busy and had to rush because she had a dinner party. She froze my eye, pealed back the skin and sent me home. She would not give me a day off work. So I went to my OPTOMOTRIST. He was very upset that she did not offer a eye protection device and that she froze my eye. She should not have allowed me to go to work until it healed. She did not give me an antibiotic and it got infected. After I was properly treated, not allowed to work for two weeks. Now it is mended thanks to real medical care. I would never allow her to take care of anything. She slammed my credit for $100 because I walked out on the second and refused to pay for her damage. She is a quack. Ok for glasses maybe, but not medical care or emergency.

Dr. K is one of the most thorough and professional physicians I have ever had the pleasure of being a patient of. She is meticulous in her every move, check, check and recheck is her motto. I have had my cataract surgery performed by her and had amazing results. She is most detailed in the information appointment before surgery and is most telling of what I could expect and not expect. Those that have given her a less than perfect evaluation, I say this. There is no such thing as perfectâ?¦. But let me tell youâ?¦ she is dam closeâ?¦.

I went to her because I am a diabetic, she suggested I have a cataract surgery done. after several appointments and spending many dollars after the surgery I developed floaters and a infections in the eye. I got tired of supporting her so I went to a new doctor. he in turn sent me to eye specialist. after 1 visit and a needle in my eye the infection is gone, have yet to see if the floater will go. bottom line, the infection the was corrected in 1 visit should have been corrected by her after 7 visits! she is friendly and respectful but I would never let her do surgery on my other eye. my right eye is still not right and my new doctor is trying to fix the many new problems that I have with it. it all started after her surgery on me. never had problems other than glasses before that. I guess everyone makes a mistake. I believe she made one on me that I may have to live with the rest of my life!

The staff was competent and friendly. Dr. Kuczynski is knowledgeable and has a great bedside manner. I would highly recommend her.
