Not too sure since I had to find out myself she closed her practice.

hate to see dr sw leave.its been a very long and hard trail I've been on a very long time and she stood by me and helped me to get to where and what was needed to have the strength and courage I needed to get to the end and begin the next adventure in my life.she believed in me and built the trust needed between dr and patient.she had the patience and never wasted her time-or mine-by looking at me instead of the clock. i'm about to get the tune up long over due and the dr found the tools needed to finish this job. I hope/ wish she could be there when I finsh the final page of the book when my story is completed. everyone/anyone should be happy and pleased to have Dr Swatz . dr sw has been a great neurologist to me over the years needed,and angela her asst was just the best making them 2 a great team. thank you to both of you.dont know how I could of got there without you all. i'll miss you. and you know i'll make it....

She forgot what she told me Forgot what she prescribed me Said that I told her somethin that I did not tell her to try to cover. Was not prepared for follow up visit. Had no paperwork no chart. went by memory Which was wrong...Challenged me in front of my husband... had me in tears... Since here I have met a few worse so I cant say she is the worst...but she clearly missed helping me ...Bilateral Temporal Sclerosis....three documented episodes TLE during VEEG This woman prescribed Lamictal and then told everyone she didnt! I had to pick up the hospital records to prove it to her and everyone else! I have read her snide self defense remarks... She should switch occupations...truly lady...you need help.

My GP referred me to Dr Swartz because of suspected myoclonus and we asked her to rule out or diagnose epilepsy. I was not bothered by her office procedures as I understand the difficulties of staffing a medical clinic for super-specialists that do not see a broad range of patients. I found her skills to be quite suited to a specialist within a speciality. She is not known for treating broad neurological conditions but is a specialist focused on epilepsy. Her investigation into my case was very professional and sober. She raised an eyebrow or two on the more bizarre facts of my case, but she remained opened if not dubious until she confirmed the facts for herself. That is what I would expect from someone responsible for cutting through all the emotion of a very terrible disease and to get to the facts and what science can be applied towards it to not only achieve an accurate diagnosis but also to tailor treatment. Every patient is different and I applaud her position that patients… need to take responsibility for their illness and their treatment. I read the negative reviews and all I can say is Dr. Swartz did not give you epilepsy. Her communication skills are not going to help you or hurt you in the long run but her insistence that patients need to own their condition to help manage an effective cure will save them long after Dr. Swartz moves on. I appreciate her body of knowledge in her specialty not her ability to make me laugh or if I feel satisfied with her service. She is not serving me dinner she is trying to help me medically. You might not like her office practices but $15 for a refill is a bargain. She has the right to insist that you come for an office visit for each refill and that is more than $15. God Bless you Dr. Swartz and bless you for all the people you have helped. Don't let the negative reviews affect your confidence. People are intimidated by strong, intelligent, and successful women...and you have two advanced degrees. Personally I think you should smile more, but not to help your bedside manner, I think you should smile more because you have such a beautiful smile.

Limited office hours makes scheduling hared

The best neurologist I've ever been to. I drive two hours just to see her each time and let me tell you, it's worth it! She is incredibly knowledgeable, comforting, and takes time to explain the "why" of her diagnosis and plans.

I think she is ready to retire.

Dr. Swartz has no bedside manner, I've been to many doctors and have never met anyone less suited to the practice of medicine. She should work with lab rats, they won't be offended if she's rude and acts like she doesn't care about them or their symptoms.She had no staff at the time I tried to get an appt, so you were lucky to get an appt at all. Then she made an appt based on a message I'd left, but failed to notify me of it. Then I got a call I'd missed the appt and she tried to charge me for it.My best recommendation is to avoid her.
