Dr. Barbara Ellen Weiss

I had made an appt on an acquaintances referral for a regular check up. Upon arrival the staff was extremely rude and short with me. Unfriendly front desk receptionist and a really dirty. There were several red flags immediately upon my visit but I gave the DR the benefit of the doubt and remained in the waiting room. After nearly an hour of waiting the Barbara E Weiss MD finally made time for me. I commented that it must be a very busy day and the response I received from her was extremely rude and unbecoming. She was completely insensitive to my concerns and made me feel as though they were NOT important or valid in any way. Upon departure I felt as though the DR and staff were glad to see me leave because not one said anything remotely kind or friendly to me. Needless to say, I will not return. I suggest you don't visit the practice at all.

She is very well-informed about all the available options and explains everything very carefully and considered my needs and wants. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Weiss was rude, disrespectful, arrogant, and demeaning. She does not care that the patient understands her diagnosis, and certainly doesn't have any regard for the patient's feelings or concerns. She will make judgements about you depending on your reason for seeing her, whether they are true or not-- it doesn't matter. She will not treat you as a person, she will treat you as one more thing she needs to do to get paid-- and she most definitely doesn't enjoy or care about her job and the impact that she has on other people's lives. You go to her to seek advice, and she will treat you so poorly that you will feel 100 times worse than when you went it. I STRONGLY suggest that you do not visit this doctor. She is truly the worst healthcare professional I have ever come across. In addition, she gives no regard to patient confidentiality. Major HIPAA violator, but leaves the patient too stunned and confused and vulnerable-feeling to know what to do about it. Looking back on it now,… I should have sued her for the care I received from her, as well as for the outrageous violation of my confidentiality.
