Dr. Barrett I Woods

I have suffered for 15 years with what I thought was a sciatic nerve. After exhausting many avenues, I was sent to Dr. Woods. Within minutes he said I needed a Lumbar spinal fusion and operated on me 2 weeks later. I am pain free and consider him my hero! His bed side manner and wonderful personality have made him one of my favorite doctors!!

Great experience. He is a wonderful provider. He actually listens to you. Explains what he is going to do. And it happen just that way. I also have recommend AtlantiCare surgical team as well. They were spot on. To say the AtlantiCare team and Dr Woods were a well oiled machine would be an understatement. Thank you everything.

He is absolutely awesome. My husband calls him a hero. He relieved all the pain, anxiety, and apprehension in having surgery. Very caring and compassionate for the patient and the family.

I saw Dr Woods at the office in Sewell office twice . He was very helpful. The staff was efficient and kind.

Dr. Woods is the best spinal surgeon in the area. Not just because of his skill set, but because of his caring attitude towards his patients. No need to go to Philadelphia, when you have the best right here at home

I have seen Dr. Woods twice so far, both visits had short wait times and friendly staff. Once I was able to see Dr. Woods he promptly answered all my question.

I was seen by Dr. Woods for a herniated disc resulting from a Motor Vehicle Crash. This was a workers compensation case. After numerous visits I was advised I would need surgery. I chose not to have the surgery after Dr. Woods told me he was not confident that the surgery decrease my pain. He gave me two options have surgery or go back to work. Unfortunately just because I chose not to have surgery did not mean my injuries went away. Dr. Woods was very unprofessional and had poor bed side manners. I am not sure if this was because I was a worker’s compensation case. A year later after my accident and I still have neck pain. Thank you Dr. Woods by taking the pressure off yourself that you are willing to do surgery but were not confident that it would help with relieving pain and putting the pressure to make a decision that can result in a failed procedure or go back to work.

My 64yr old husband saw Dr. Woods Dec 2019 after his back "went out" in Aug. He had 2 prior surgeries many years ago. Dr. Woods did not push him to have to surgery because he was felling better but had us come back in 3 months. By then we knew it was time. He had a Lumbar Laminectomy & Fusion and was up the next day feeling stronger than he ever had before! But the best part is how compassionate Dr. Woods is. He really listens. He is just a wonderful man.
