I've read a lot of mixed reviews, am a veteran patient for Dr. Ring's office, so felt i should add my honest input!
I've been consistently going to this office once a month for 3+ years now. I've seen a lot.
If you're in pain, if you are someone involved in an accident, work injury, have opioid dependence, this practice WILL help you. The nurse practitioners (Robin, Carlene) are amazing, very attentive, great listeners, here to provide you with a proper care plan for each patient. My favorite is Carlene. Cool lady! Both are very sweet, though. The girls are all certified assistants now, they do wear scrubs, do take proper vitals. The doctors, Dr. O (never see often at Hobart branch) and Dr. Ring MIGHT be a different story, but it is comoletely subjective, as everyone has different exerpiences.
I am a young, attractive girl, i have crossed paths with this slimy, predatory side. Dr. Ring is very capable, has a booming business, can eradicate really probably anything, but he is… very smug and entitled. He would often during our visits talk to me about the girls (who used to work here or were previois patients) would email him, and say very suggestive things. I felt like he was insinuating something. He would use word play to flirt with you and tried to play "footsie" with me many times. Once he did this infront of my mom, when she came back to chat one time. It was super weird, almost like he was seeing how much he could get away with. No doubt about it, Ring likes the ladies, and especially the pretty ones. Yes, he just might make a subtle advance at you. Am i condoning it? No. But he's a great doctor, he is rather prompt and time sensitive (although, yes, you WILL be made to wait 40+ minutes sometimes), and he's making people feel better and able to manage life again. Not many doctors do what he does. There are some unsavory parts about him, wouldn't be the first (or last) to say that, but in general, he IS an asset to the medical community. As well as this area. This area is rampant with opioid use and have VERY few places to seek treatment for dependency. Although the opioid recovery program in this country is a complete crock/money making scam, they aren't living by their own set of rules and inflating prices, they are following pre-devised system. This is what all clinics are charging. I know, the $120 drug tests every 3 months suck, that is NOT their fault! Have to adhere to code before them! Opoids are HIGHLY regulated.
Again, not condoning sleezy behavior, but with everything considered, this is a really great practice for this region, there aren't many doing what he does, i for one and very thankful for Dr. Ring. He's assisted in my recovery tremendously. I have no idea where i would be without him. I was seeing a "pop up" clinic off 81st steeet down from the mall years ago, prior. What a mess that was! Dr. Obeki? Man, that one! Crazy guy, straight sociopath. Faked test results and used reverse psychology to try and mess with you. You habe to consider, there is a LOT worse out there. I feel like a couple people had bad experienced and they're here to air it out on every platform they can. We're some of these comments written by the same people? Wouldn't be surprised, as there were many repeating themes in the comments. Please, people, give credit where credit is do. MANY people are better off today because of the work that practice does. Please acknowledge and respect that.
