First, avoid Medical Clinics of Arizona at all costs! Horribly unprofessional, disorganized office staff. Refill prescriptions take at least a week despite multiple phone calls - voice mail messages almost NEVER returned! Always a minimum 30 to 45 minute wait even with an appointment made well in advance. When you finally do get in, the medical assistant is cold and businesslike and the doctor is rushed, condescending, doesn't really listen and is quick to write a prescription whether or not it is truly necessary. So as for bedside manner - there is none. Here's how much he cares about patients: he recently relocated to local hospital where he is now only sees hospital patients. Never informed his patients that he would no longer be their doctor and that they would have to deal with remaining (younger, less experienced) doctor or nurse practitioners still at Medical Clinics of Arizona. Hardly the "geratric specialist" you want working with vulnerable patients like the senior… citizens he's been seeing. Find someone else who truly cares about his patients.

He never, EVER returns phone calls. He never gives me REAL answers when I ask questions. I feel he is a cold person and has no bedside manner at all. He is very uncaring if you have to contact him more than once for problems. He prescribes medication for everything and I don't think he knows what he is doing. Three prescriptions for one problem is a bit much. And the problem has still not gone away ...only got worse. I am not going back to him and I have been with him for years now, which was not too smart of me.
