After being a patient for many years, I was fired by this doctor for being "non-compliant". Well, this was a first... I have type 1 diabetes but don't have health insurance. It's either insulin which runs $4000 + annually (and which isn't covered until today's high deductibles are met) OR insurance for me, I can't afford both so I am self-pay. My crime with this doctor was that I could not afford to visit an emergency room when I encountered a problem with my illness and her appointments were booked weeks out. Talk about compounding an already impossible situation. Uncaring and soulless doctor...

misdiagnosed serious health issues! not sure how she got her medical degree or has kept her license! She refuses to gives referrals unless you threaten to call the insurance company. Absolutely a dangerous incompetent dr!! stay away unless you don't value your life

One of the kindest, respectful, empathetic doctors I have ever been to. Takes her time, listens! Is Very Thorough!!! Great follow-up too!!I've been a patient of hers since 2000; 15 years! Outstanding!!

I would not change Dr. Herrero for any other doctor, she is without a doubt the best doctor I've ever had. She listens to your concerns and does not rush you. I have not had insurance in a couple of years, she has helped me with a very affordable doctors fee along with helping me with samples of medicines. Dr. Herrero has also helped me with discounts on lab works. Above all Dr. Herrero cares about her patients. She is simply the Best!

Dr. Herrero is a consumate professional. She has assisted me beyond my expectations when I lost my job and my insurance. She has provided excellent health care and related well to my needs and concerns.

I was a patient of Dr. Herrero's for about a year before moving from FL. I wish I could have a doctor in my new location who was as good. She took the time to listen and ordered the appropriate tests when necessary. Very helpful and professional. I would recommend anyone in the Wesley Chapel, New Tampa area to become her patient if you are looking for a new primary.
