Dr. Belinda Frances Hartley, MD

Unable to give any stars. Read on... After working with her office help for over 5 months. With lost paperwork, misdialed phone numbers and poor attitudes, we finally got an appointment. My son missed his appointment for the very reason he needs to see a psychiatrist. He was up the entire night before and past the appointment having a panic/anxiety attack, nausea, cold sweats, dizzy. They now refuse to see him or release the notes from his previous doctors. Seriously! There is a dreadful shortage of psychiatrists in Montana and she evidently has a back log of patients, if she were practicing in an area that had an optimum ratio of patients to prectioners, she would be struggling to keep her practice open. Go somewhere the practice cares about people.

Dr. Hartley is a very capable physician. She ask good questions and listens to her patients. She seems to have a good work/life balance which sets a good example for her patients. Her office staff is friendly and efficient. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who needs psychiatric care or needs a second opinion.

I have been seeing Dr Hartley for a long time and she is definitely a shoe that fits. It can take a long time to find that kind of psychiatrist-- and she is empathetic and funny and I always feel better when I leave than when I came. Other than our therapeutic relationship, I could easily see her as a very good friend

I have been seeing Dr. Hartley for a few years (ever since she started practicing at St. V's Behavioral Health), and to me, she is a SHOE THAT FITS! She always has time to listen to me, she understands the various stressors in my life, and she makes me feel hopeful for my future!!Whenever I need a medication adjustment, she is willing to explain contraindications, side effects, drug interactions, etc. She REALLY knows her stuff!!She is right now seeing me through perhaps the hardest time of my recent life (I'm 60 years old), and I am tremendously happy she is on my side!!I believe she is very caring, and she is particularly good with women, although my partner thinks she is really good with men, too.
