Dr. Benjamin Fletcher Cox, MD

When my former provider retired I "interviewed" 2 or 3 other physicians. I chose Dr. B.F. Cox because he seemed and still is caring, patient, and makes me feel as if I am his only patient. He answers my questions and if I need further explanation he does so in a manner that is not condescending.

I have been a patient of Doctor Cox's for a little over 2 years. I initially switched from a ppo system to Kaiser and after a couple missteps of finding a doctor in the Kaiser system I was connected with Dr. Cox and thankful every day that he is my doctor. He's very responsive, listens and helps approach any issue in a methodical manner.

I spoke to this doctor who told me that he could not be my doctor because he thought that I knew everything already and went on to another meeting.

There is no one I trust more than Dr Cox! He made me feel SO at ease when I first saw him. He is amazing and I hope he is my doc for life! He was very comfortable to talk to, very reassuring about my concerns and anxieties, and helped me process and cope with multiple health concerns over the years. Grateful for his dedication and compassion.

I would strongly encourage everyone to avoid this doctor. I hope Kaiser finds better LGBTQ doctors in the future. Do not entrust your health and wellness to this man.

I've been Dr. Cox's patient for about 3 years now. I am a female in her 30s and even though his Kaiser profile says his specialty is HIV Medicine and the LGBT community, he has consistently treated me with the highest care, warmth, and attention to detail. He is passionate about his work, he doesn't get annoyed with all my questions, and he makes it clear he sees us as people, not files or appointments.

Malagasy takes his time to talk about all my needs/concerns. Makes me feel very at ease and well taken care of.

Dr. Benjamin Cox, I was his patient in urgent care. He doesnt provide adequate care for his patients. I have multiple sclerosis since 2004 and he mixed up my labwork with someone elses. And then I recieved wrong injection in my spine. I would think that would not benefit any patient. I dont recommmend him to anyone. He should have his medical license removed. Good Luck!! J.Riddiough
