Dr. Benjamin David Levy, MD

I was recently admitted to the East Orange VA where I was under Dr. Benjamin Levy's care in the morning. I had been waiting all day to speak with him regarding my pain. He never showed. Instead, he provided an e-consult to the other doctors with his own "ideas" considering the fact that we never spoke. Had he done so, maybe he would have learned a bit more about my condition instead of just making biased views and then injecting me something with something I'm highly allergic to. I broke out in hives and had begun to have difficulty breathing. I informed the nurses after the fact and to inform the doctor but that's something I cannot verify whether they were able to reach him or not considering it took 5 hours from being admitted for him to even deem to order my first medication. Again, without speaking or seeing me. I would not trust this doctor with a pile of dirt I found on the road. The morning shift immediately noticed my deteriorating condition as well as my allergies and… quickly took action to prevent further issues.

He takes the time to listen to his patients and really takes his time with patients. He is easy to contact and responses to my message in a timely manner. I appreciate all he does for me.

Rarely does one find a Doctor who actually cares and listens to his patients. He is thorough and informative. Great work
