Dr. Benjamin Boe Luong, MD

My wife had a UTI infection and ended up in the hospital. She was cared for and seen after by DR. Luong. Very nice, very professional to her. Helped her a lot. Other comments seem to be maybe nothing to do with him as a doctor, but problems with people's own head.

The experience with Dr. Luong was the worst experience I have ever had with a doctor. He considers any questions of his recommendations as a personal affront and his response was aggressive and rude. By the end of the conversation, he told me he didn't care if I had his recommended surgery or not! Rather than listening to my questions, and explaining why surgery was the best option, he chose to be aggressive and insulting and dismissive. Find another urologist.This guy has the bedside manner of a prison guard! There are many good urologists between Erie and Buffalo with much higher positive patient experiences.

Looks like i had a similar experience to several other customers. This person doesnt seem overly concerned with the customers opinion or how their body feels

I found Dr. Luong to be very patient and kind. He spent time explaining my husband's diagnosis and the options. The surgery was successful and he is doing well. Dr. Luong spent time at the f/u appt explaining the pathology results and allowed time for us to ask questions. We were very happy with the care.

I felt like I was inconveniencing him. Very short, both with questions and procedure. I will no have him again for family or myself.

Dr Luong operated on my son. He was very arrogant and acted like we were bothering him. He asked if i had questions. I started to ask him some questions and he brushed me off and said if i had that many questions maybe someone else should do the surgery! Very Knowledgeable but pompous and too full of himself.

My husband had him in the hospital and although he is knowledgeable, he needs to work on his listening and bedside manner.

Dr. Luong may be a most competent physician, but his manner is brusque, abrupt, and just shy of rude. I felt as though he resented my being in his exam room, and that I was wasting his time. Disappointing.
