Dr. Benjamin M Skinker, MD

Dr. Skinker is an excellent, caring doctor. He takes the time to listen to concerns and answer questions. He does not just slap a diagnosis or opinion on your and rush you out the door. To me, it is unfortunate that very few doctors are like Dr. Skinker anymore, although it makes his high-quality care stand out even more. Be prepared to wait when you go to see him though - the big-name hospital that runs the health center requires doctors to have appointments every 20 minutes so he has no choice in the matter, but he sometimes takes longer (when needed) than 20 minutes to see a patient. This is the reason I continue to go to see him - I know he is willing to listen and provide quality care to each individual. So even when he is all backed up (once I was the cause of the back-up...oops...), I know that it is because of way of practicing medicine, which I am more than willing to wait for.

Committed, caring, and makes sure he does the right thing for his patients. He listens and is honest!

Dr Skinker is very thorough. I live outside of the city, so I need someone I can make an appointment with and go on with my life. He gives me reading material about medications I am to take. He explains to me what is going on, what will happen afterwards. I sense that he really does care about my health and myself.
