Dr. Beth Bretzman Benson, MD

I have had the displeasure to be Dr. Benson's patients for a little over a year now. I have almost had two appointments with her. The first was my first ever appointment in which she rushed me out of the office and handed me pills with no explanation. A year later, I had another appointment just for a check up, and she decided that I, her patient, was not worth her time and did not show up. She has no regard for her patients care of their time and truly only cares about your monetary value. If you take pride in your body at all, do not go to her. Do not entrust your care to her. Instead you will be met with appointments you did not know were cancelled and all of your questions left unanswered.

Dr. Benson's mistake during delivery (although not intentional) caused my daughter to be taken from my arms within seconds after her birth to be treated in the NICU for a week where I was unable to hold or nurse her for days. She didn't apologize or come to check on us at all afterwards. It was very traumatic. I'll never have that moment I dreamed of holding my brand new baby skin to skin after birth.

I have been going to Dr Benson for many years. She is the best!

Dr. Benson is an excellent physician, smart and friendly with a wonderful way of making you comfortable with her exams. I've been her patient for several years now and she is unfailingly understanding about any issues that I discuss with her. Her exams are very gentle and she is very good about explaining when asked.

I called because I moved here from out of state; I'm 16 weeks along and I had a couple questions. Before even answering my questions I was rudely cut off in mid sentence by the person that answered the phone to ask for my insurance. I explained I found the doctor in my insurances' website and before I could even spit out the rest of my sentence I was cut off again and out on hold to verify they took my insurance. No customer service or friendly demeanor what so EVER. Where do they find these people? Ugh. Of course this was after being in hold initially for nearly 15 minutes before someone even picked up. Good thing I wasn't someone with an emergency.
