Dr. Beth Eve Corn, MD

I was referred to Dr. Corn a few years ago. My allergies were off the charts! One anaphylaxis after another. She was able to diagnose and provide a detailed management plan during the initial consultation!! She changed my medications to the correct one. I had no idea one medication was the culprit of a few of my symptoms because it was contraindicated if used with another one. I’m glad she caught it. She also followed up with phone calls and emails. As of today, I have to say I’m 80% better.

During an annual visit to my family physician, I mentioned that after consulting two different allergists due to multiple experiences with anaphylaxis, I had not found an expert who made a thorough effort to get to the bottom of my case, which still was not under control. Fortunately, she recommended I visit Dr. Beth Corn. Thanks to Dr. Corn, not only is my allergy under control, but I also feel so much more equipped to handle allergic reactions, although since my initial visit with Dr. Corn 18 months ago, Iâ??ve only had 1 reaction. Dr. Corn was more thorough than other allergist I had visited prior, and she continues to monitor my case to make sure my overall allergic susceptibility has stabilized. She also remembers the small details of my specific nuanced case even after many months since my initial visit. Lastly, due to my crazy travel schedule, she works hard to accommodate my hectic schedule. I am relieved and grateful to be under the care and guidance of a true expert.

- passionate about her work and listens to her patients - excellent bedside manner including treating you not just like another patient but getting to know you as a person and your medical problems - always attentive and provide very detailed instructions, assessment and post-visit follow up guides - made sure i was on the correct meds and always asked if i have side effects during follow up visits - got to know the nurses and met other patients during allergy immunotherapy sessions. - she calls to follow up which i thought was amazing! how many doctors actually take their time to call and ask if you're feeling better? - i'm still not a big fan of needles but my allergies are 90% better. that's quite an improvement from feeling awful. it's been quite a game changer psychologically as well. i used to walk around looking like a zombie and strangers always think i look weird or mean or going through some bipolar depressed state of mind...sometimes happy and others just miserable.… after being placed on the right meds and multiple allergy immunotherapy sessions, i look quite normal again. the psychological impact is enormous! i've been tapering off a few of the allergy meds which is a big plus!

Dr. Corn is an excellent practitioner. She is highly attentive to her patients concerns and is extremely detailed in her explanation of, in my case, immune deficiency. Dr. Corn was highly recommended to me by my primary physician after I had a very upsetting unprofessional experience with another physician in immunology. I am so grateful to be one of Dr. Corn's patients. She is highly professional, while at the same time, not losing her warmth and concern for me as a patient. I highly recommend Dr. Corn to all who seek an immunologist. She is considered one of the best in New York City. Thank you Dr. Corn!

Dr. Corn solved my allergy problems in 30 minutes that two other physicians could not determine in a year. I brought her photos, a food diary/journal of symptoms, and notes from the doctors I had seen. She asked me the right questions to get to the bottom of "what's wrong with you." I appreciated her attention to detail and making sure I answered thoroughly the questions she asked. She found the right medications for me and followed up with me to make sure that I was doing okay. I have been a healthier person since seeing Dr. Corn and if anyone else is suffering from idiopathic urticaria, Dr. Corn is the one to see, in my opinion.
