Dr. Beth Erin Julian-Wang, MD

What a disappointment Dr. Wang was. I would give her zero stars if I could. Be aware she will not be there for you if she has other things to do (i.e. running a marathon) on the day your baby is born. At the office visit the day before my due date, she told me: "I just want to let you know that if you deliver your baby tomorrow, I won't be there. I'm running a marathon tomorrow, so I have to sleep very well tonight because I need to get up at 4am. And if you have your baby tomorrow, I can only be at the hospital after 4pm". Why didn't she tell me before? What doctor signs up for a marathon on the same day of a patient's due date?! A very disrespectful and uncaring doctor. If I had known this in advance, I would have changed doctor for sure, and she would have lost a patient and wouldn't have been able to charge $7,000 for the birth and delivery. This was extremely unprofessional on Dr. Wang's part. I tried not to worry and thought: "My baby won't be born exactly on the due date."… Turns out, she was. By 1 pm, I was almost ready tu push but the nurse kept delaying the process so that Dr. Wang could be at the hospital to deliver my baby (and charge $ for the delivery). Finally, by 4pm my water broke and there was a lot of meconium. I was really worried because this meant the baby was suffering inside the womb. Dr. Wang was still NOT at the hospital. She got there by 5:30 pm! Not 4pm like she promised. She took her time to have a shower, straighten her hair and even apply make up! The neonatal specialists took my baby as soon as she was born to clear her lungs and check she was ok. I wasn't able to hold her right away (which was my dream) and it was Dr. Wang's fault. I thank God that nothing bad happened. The long labor I had and the fetal stress could have been prevented if the doctor had been at the hospital instead of running a marathon.

Dr. Julian-Wang was great with my medical issues. She was understanding,kind and showed a great deal of empathy. Her staff is professional and although my paperwork for disability was messed up, they were very sorry, they corrected right away. After many years of going to a obgyn who could care less about my feelings and fears, I found the best in Dr. Julian-Wang and recommend her to anyone with similar problems. She saved my life with just one visit. She's the best in my book.

Awesome OB. Having my first baby and she (and her staff) have been nothing but great. I highly recommend her.

This Dr is wonderful. She might be a little rough around the edges (here and there), but yet somehow it works really well with her patient care techniques. She pays full attention to you when its your turn and Ive never felt rushed. She 100% there for her patients.
