Dr. Bethany Tilton Lake, MD

Worst Doctor I have ever been to. I had a talk on ice a few years ago. I had complained of bad back pain for years. She never even sent me for an MRI. I requested it and the insurance denied it saying the Dr reported I asked for it not her.

Very high-strung person. No compassion. Doesn't know what she is talking about because she doesn't even know a patient's history before seeing them and then tells them that nothing is wrong with them when something definitely is. She comes to very erroneous conclusions about your health due to her lack of actual research into your medical history. She doesn't listen to the patient and is only interested in listening to herself and then getting you out of her office. Seeing this doctor will set you back in getting better.

Caring, understanding, respectful.

She spent extra time with me and my family, really seemed to care about all of us.

very rude . didn't want to be asked any questions. stated she would just tell me how it is going to be and that was that.. called to change an appointment I couldn't keep and had to wait 3 months for another and she would not call in my medicine refill until she sees me at next appoint. so have to stay in pain for 3 months. laughed at some of my concerns. very uncaring.

After years of "seeing" a doctor that I never actually saw, I switched to Dr. Bethany Lake. She is hands on and engages the patient in a professional manner. Her staff are pleasant, knowledgeable, and responsive to patient needs. The facility is clean, well maintained, and centrally located to my life and schedule. Disclaimer - I am a healthy, 56 year old male, whose only need is a routine check up every year or two.

Over the years Dr. Lake has been most of my family's physician. She has been one of the most caring and gentle doctors I have ever known. She has delivered many of my grandchildren and we have all received excellent care from her. When my 29 years old daughter in law was dying, she an another doctor cleared their schedules to be at the hospital with our family and to encourage and comfort us. When my husband passed away (he was also her patient) she came right to our house to help in anyway she could. She was actually reprimanded for being "too compassionate"! RIDICULOUS!!! She helped us through many diseases, sickness, deaths and joyous births. I cannot say enough about what a wonderful doctor she is.

She was short, discourteous, & unprofessional.
