Dr. Betsy Deanina Grunch

After being paralyzed by her fusion surgery I lost complete faith in her. She kept sending me to her PAs. i saw another doctor and found out a lot of the screws were running into my nerves. i am very disappointed in the lack of care. now the hospital has taken her privileges away. what a shame for our community

I have always been concerned that the screws and rods and cages stuff she put inside me were for her to get paid by the spine company that the doj is talking about. i would never get my surgery with her again. i have a foot drop now and spend most of my day in a wheelchair

Dr. Grunch has done my fusion in my neck 5/12/23. She had an awesome bedside manner with me. She took care of the tingling carpal tunnel in both hands as well. She was the only surgeon who figured I have issues with bone integrating with bone grafts. That was a big plus in my healing. She has extensive training in what she does. I feel when someone enjoys doing what they do, it makes them a perfectionist. I did a whole lot of research on her before I went to her. I had several friends who are nurses and they recommended her highly. People need to look at everything else in her accomplishment that make her an excellent surgeon. I’ve referred two other friends to her and they say the same thing. There is nothing that states she’s guilty of anything. Aside from this DOJ Investigation, nothing is proving she’s a bad surgeon. It’s not a good thing to speculate when Dr. G has not done anything wrong. She’s been an inspiration to me in loosing almost 65 pounds. It’s awful that it’s even… mentioned on here for a review.

I don’t know why she’s praised as a wonderful doctor. She has zero bedside manners. Zero compassion, zero professional responsibility. Probably social media reach is making her look all this glory- but as a real life neurosurgeon she is below average, I wouldn’t recommend her. Sorry.

Yikes I knew she messed up my surgery. And now that the doj is investigating her for fraud, it's obvious she is incompetent and unethical!

My foot has not worked properly since my fusion surgery and I am in worse pain! This is not what I signed up for!

Her skill and expertise made me confident in my first surgery and recovery too!
