Dr. Betty Ann Cohen, MD

I had an appoint with Dr Cohen on 8-17-18. Don't know which way my L&I claim will go, but have a pretty good guess. Regardless, I had a very good experience with her as well as with her compassionate & caring nurse Laura. Dr. Cohen was patient & she took her time to listen to me. I found her to be knowledgeable & appreciated very much her taking the time to explain things to me.

I would not let her treat my dog. told me pains good. I give her a -10 never met any buddy like her and hope I never do

What does any of that matter when this "Dr" doesn't have and idea what the oath meant we she became a doctor. She is dishonest to the point of causing her patients harm.

If I could give Betty Cohen negative stars, it would be a more accurate rating. The woman does not treat patients as a physician; she attempts to psychoanalyze them. She uses quack medicine in an attempt to convince patients that there is nothing wrong with them. Rather than prescribing treatment, she prescribes books. She refuses to prescribe pain medication to patients because "anything that makes you feel good can be addictive." Rather, she encourages patients to use uplifting sayings written on strips of tape and placed on the injured area to take away the pain. I could go on and on!

A dishonest Dr.

Dr. Cohen is a very knowledgable doctor. When I got injured on the job, she helped me get better and back to work. Dr Cohen taught me that I can get better without having to use strong narcotic for a long period of time.

Dr. Cohen is a quack. If you can avoid going to her, please do! She does not treat patients, she tries to psychoanalyze them. She does not believe in pain medication or anything else that can make you feel better because 'they can be addicting'. In the spirit of psychoanalyzing without a degree, I believe she herself must have had an addiction to pain medication in her past. Instead of prescribing medicine, she prescribes a self help book. Please, do not voluntarily see this 'doctor'. If L&I sends you to her, tell them you want someone else.As the joke says: you know what they call the person who graduated last from medical school? Doctor.
