Dr. Beverly Gail Wood, MD

I had the most terrible experience visiting Dr. Woods’ office today. I scheduled this appointment a month ago and even took time off work to be there, only to be treated with complete disregard. My appointment was for 1:30 PM, and as I was on my way, I received an important call from my children’s school that I had to take. Once I finished the call, I checked in at 1:37 PM—well within the 15-minute grace period clearly stated on their website and posted at the front desk. However, the receptionist was extremely rude and dismissive, refusing to check me in and insisting that I had to reschedule. Rather than being understanding, she argued with me for 10 to 15 minutes—time I could have spent filling out paperwork. She then claimed that Dr. Woods had already decided not to see me, which was beyond frustrating. The complete lack of professionalism and compassion from this office was unacceptable. I planned ahead, took off work, and followed their policies, only to be denied care for no… valid reason. If you’re looking for a doctor’s office that respects their patients’ time and commitments, I strongly suggest going elsewhere.

Furthermore, she failed to recommend the HPV vaccine, despite the fact that I was the key patient demographic to receive it. Her unprofessionalism and failure to meet my expected standard of care led me to seek another physician after roughly a year. I wouldn’t recommend her to anyone.

Dr. Wood is someone that I trust implicitly. She is compassionate, caring and engaging. She really cares about you and her staff is also very caring. On a scale of 1 -10 with 10 being the highest, I would rate Dr. Wood a 15.

She never talks, racist. She does not take good care of patients.

Dr . Beverly Wood is excellent so caring and professional . Natalie her nurse is always patient and always has time for your questions. Her staff is the best. Thank You all.

Dr Wood is very kind & caring. She takes time to answer all of your questions thoroughly. She makes you feel like you are her only patient, for the day even though she has to be crazy busy. The office staff is very friendly as well.

Love the office staff! Dr. Wood is a very busy woman so sometimes I feel rushed but she'll always listen and answer any questions. She's also very LOUD and sometimes you can hear her in the other room! But she's got a wonderful personality and is very energetic!

Awesome Doctor. She has been my OB/GYN since 1999. Dr. Wood has delivered all three of my children and she cares-truly cares. I have referred multiple friends and family to her who all have the same love her attitude!

Dr Wood helped me through my first miscarriage and then through my high risk pregnancy with my twins. She was the greatest - she was there any time I had a question or concern and really cared. Dr Wood is the reason I have healthy 10 year old twins today. I wouldn't go anywhere else!
