Dr. Bezalel Dantz, MD

I worked with Dr. Dantz for almost 10 years, and he played a huge role in helping me get to a stable, healthy place with my mental health. With his support and expertise in managing my medication, I was able to make steady progress over time, and now I’m off medication entirely, which I never thought would happen. I really appreciated his thoughtful and consistent approach, and I’m so grateful for the support he provided over the years.

Dr Dantz has been a godsend for my daughter. For years, she struggled with finding the right medication(s) for her debilitating anxiety. We switched to Dr. Dantz in June and by November she was finally on the correct "cocktail." He listened and was very accessible as we were trying various options, managing her symptoms and changing course quickly when we knew it was not the correct path. We would highly recommend Dr. Dantz for anyone who is done randomly guessing for their medication treatment.

Dr. Dantz is nothing short of a psychiatric wizard, his attentive and creative approach to my treatment has been life-changing and life-saving. He promptly tinkers with my medications as needed and checks in to ensure I get optimal results. Dr. Dantz also makes himself very available with communication, which I appreciate as this is not a given in psychiatry. My life has really turned around since I started working with Dr. Dantz, I would highly recommend him to anyone with a complex mental health history.

As a sufferer of depression for the better part of my adult life, I can attest to the value of a skilled psychiatrist and the right medication. Seeing Dr. Dantz and being on a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) have proved to be an extremely effective combination for me. Dr. Dantz is the most insightful, organized, and goal-oriented doctor I’ve had. He is also kind and a good communicator. Under his guidance, I’ve been taking an MAOI for a number of years with life-changing results. It’s unfortunate that drugs in this classification have gotten such a bad rap. Observing the dietary restrictions and avoiding certain other drugs is manageable and becomes second nature—a very small price to pay for major relief of my treatment-resistant depression. I also don’t experience brain fog, difficulty with word finding or other troublesome side effects. I have been on many other anti-depressants without success. Only on MAOIs have I felt such clarity and equilibrium. Without the cloud of… depression enveloping me, I’ve found it much easier to problem-solve and make improvements in other areas of my life.

I have worked with Dr. Dantz for many years and I have never had better success in treating my depression. I would recommend him to anyone, and especially to members of the LGBTQ+ community. He was incredibly supportive during my gender transition, for which I'm truly grateful.

I cannot recommend Dr. Dantz highly enough. I have struggled with chronic pain, multiple autoimmune diseases, depression and and anxiety for years. My life turned around when I started seeing Dr. Dantz- he finally figured out the correct combination of medication and dosages, and gave me my quality of life back. My experience with Dr. Bezalel Dantz has been extremely positive and extremely beneficial. Dr. Dantz has researched into multiple medical areas to provide lesser known but invaluable medical information that has benefited me greatly. He has successfully helped me feel a great deal better with more energy which a severe problem for me. I am a cardiac patient who also had migraines. Dr. Dantz addressed my migraine issues as well and they now are under control I feel that Dr. Dantz is superior in his field.

Dr. Dantz is amazing! He has been the psychiatrist for my 88 year old "aunt" for the past several years. Initially he worked wonders optimizing my aunt's emotional well-being through prescribing a highly effective medication for her anxiety and depression. More recently when my aunt became unusually fatigued, he recommended a sleep study which showed severe sleep apnea, and CPAP therapy has really helped to improve her energy level. Nonetheless Dr. Dantz recommended follow up for my aunt's previous diagnosis of "mild" aortic stenosis (which is a narrowed valve in the heart). It turns out that my aunt now has "severe" aortic stenosis, which we would not have known if Dr. Dantz had not recommended follow up for what had seemed like a mild, stable condition. In short, Dr. Dantz is one of the most astute doctors I have ever known (and I am a retired pediatrician, so I've known a lot of doctors...). He is also very warm and compassionate! And whenever I have a question, or an issue… with obtaining a medication refill, he responds to my emails within hours and works hard to resolve the issue. I recommend Dr. Dantz wholeheartedly!
