Dr. Bonnie L Litvack, MD

Dr. Litvack and her staff are wonderful caring people. Everyone is professional and kind. It is a pleasure to go for my mammo....yes a pleasure.

I hate going for my yearly mammogram because Dr Litvack makes me feel anxious every year....I have heard she is an excellent technician but she has no warmth if a problem presents itself. She is not someone who sees you as a person ..she sees you as a picture on a scan or X-ray. I always leave feeling afraid that perhaps there is a problem brewing.

Please, ladies, do not put yourself through an experience with this doctor. It is stressful enough that you are even in a situation that REQUIRES her skills to begin with, yet alone to be treated with such cold indifference. Shocking from a woman, especially. She talks at 90 mph, is clearly in an annoyed or adjatated state of mind and you will leave there feeling so deflated and even more confused that you arrived. There is zero warmth or compassion expressed and she clearly is only able to focus on whatever is going on for her that she is that way and not think about the patient.

I have been going to Dr. Litvack for some time now for consistency in films. Everyone raves about her skills as a Dr. but each time I go I am nervous and she does not make it better because she is so devoid of warmth, personality or caring. If she talks to you at all it will be in technical terms that you will not fully understand and if you have any issue you will leave the office feeling as if you might be dying. She is not really looking at the "person"...only the films. A smile might be nice.

I was hoping for a caring doctor, instead got one that spent about 3 minutes from me, didn't really ask me if I had any questions, and was extremely cold and not personable.
