Dr. Boyd Lee Parks, MD

I work in the medical field and even study pre-med, so I hate when Doctors treat me like I am ignorant. Seemed too many of those! I understand my body better than anyone else, including my doctor. Dr. Parks takes the time to listen to me and either agree or disagree with my "diagnosis". Will order lab work, before Radiology studies and Ultrasounds, before CTs and MRIs. Bedside manners are excellent. Thank you for treating me as an intelligent woman. I recommend him to anyone, who has complications of OB or Gynocological or just needs a new Doctor.

My first child created various health issues for me. Dr. Parks was always calm and in control ensuring a positive outcome for us. My second child decided to race into the world. Dr. Parks shift was over but he came back into my room to deliver us. In my opinion Dr. Parks will always go above and beyond the call of duty to offer the best care possible to his patients.

Even though I had to see all the doctors in his practice I ended up seeing Dr Parks the most. He was also the one who delivered my baby. He is very laid back, even though my son didn't appear to be growing very well in utero Dr Parks was never stressed out about it or made me feel stressed. I had extra ultrasounds to measure my baby's growth and we had a plan if his growth fell below a certain point. I did have to ask a lot of questions, he didn't offer too much information at first. Overall I was happy with my labor and delivery with Dr Parks.
