Dr. David Earl Newman, MD

What an absolute fabulous doctor!!!! Dr. David Newman is a wonderful listener,. He makes u feel very comfortable and heard. He never rushes through the appointment. He did my surgery and the recovery was very smooth. We even prayed together before the surgery. Rest assured if u r in Dr. Newman’s hands. Wish I could give him 100000 stars.

I have been seeing Dr. Newman for a couple of years after switching from another OB/GYN who just wasn't working for me. Dr. Newman took his time during my appointment, answered all of my questions & explained all of my options. He helped me get on a new medication, as my old one wasn't working for me & a year later, it's still working GREAT! Recommend him to everyone!!!

Very disappointed...

Dr. Newman is the BEST doctor I’ve ever visited. He is patient and kind, he listens to you and never rushes, he explains your options thoroughly... I feel extremely comfortable around him and his staff. I drive an hour and a half each way to see him, and will travel any distance to continue seeing him. He cares about his patients and their whole health, not just the one area he is treating. There really aren’t enough words to describe how amazing Dr. Newman is.

I cannot say enough about Dr. David Newman and his staff! I was originally refered to Dr. Newman by my insurance company and am so pleasantly pleased that he and his medical (including Liz, Nurse Practitioner) and non-medical staff are so consistently efficient, friendly and compassionate. Dr. Newman is the doctor that one always hopes to encounter. As a patient, I always feel heard, never rushed, well advised and compassionately treated during medical procedures. I highly recommend Dr. Newman for any OB/GYN needs and I myself drive from Greensboro to Concord rather than see anyone else.

My Mom needed surgery, prolapsed bladder. She is 80 years old .... We searched for a physician throughout Charlotte, Raleigh and found Dr. Newman he is the best and I’m glad we found him... He is a Awesome Doctor!

I have been going to Dr. Newman for a couple years now and have always had the best experience with him. I currently live over an hour from his office, but refuse to change doctors. He is definitely worth the drive. During our visits he makes me feel comfortable and answers all my questions. I have never felt the need for a nurse/assistant to be in the room. Dr. Newman is professional and very knowledgeable. His staff are always kind and I never have to wait more than a couple minutes for my appointment!

Doctor doesn't care about the patient. I only met doctor once and the rest of the time seeing only nurses who doesn't have answers to my question. The doctor doesn't have a plan of action as to what needs to be done next nor is he curtious to explain what is going on. Nurse has no compassion while talking to the patient. Wondering why they are in that profession.

If you need general GYN care, they're ok. However, if you're like some of us women who just have female issues most of our lives, then these are NOT the Drs for you. It is evident they need and desire the "EASY" patients. You know, the ones that just need general yearly exams. Absolutely, NOTHING MORE can be expected. It's such a shame that most "Physicians" are expecting to treat patients with a "One Size Fits All" Healthcare plan. Everyone needs the same tests and procedures. Dr Newman is exactly the same. Any type of "Complicated" patient that would require some other treatment plan, well you'll be very disappointed. Eventually, they'll treat you as if they don't want to be bothered with you so hopefully you'll go elsewhere, which is what I finally did! Save yourself time, hassle, and disappointment by finding a Dr who is still in practice for the right reasons.

He put me at ease right away and listened to my questions and concerns, answering each one clearly. I never felt "rushed" or misunderstood. He treated me with patience and dignity. His open discussion of the place of faith encouraged me so much! After surgery I found his office so easy to contact and they quickly got answers to my questions. I can't recommend him too highly!
